First of all Mario should improve and that expectation is ok and totally warranted. David has not improved thus he is the whipping boy. As long as Mario improves we can be happy, what will not go away and we as Texan's fans (and Mario himself) must get used to, is the Vince and Reggie fanboys coming out of the woodwork every time they have a good game; which between the two of the them could be a weekly occurrence. Mario must get past this and just be the best player he can be. I believe he will be a good one for a long time possibly longer than Reggie and Vince given their styles as a scat back (a very good one, suck it fanboys) and a scrambling QB. Both of those styles lend themselves to higher injury risk factors. In the end, the most important thing that will wipe all of this foolishness away is the team must improve and become a winning franchise, until that happens punks b****es will love to rip the organization a new one at every opportunity because it will make themselves feel better. It is a weak way to be but it is also very easy so that attitude will not go away. GO TEXANS!!!!
And the whole point was to b**** about our first pick. Again. That's fresh. I don't know what you guys are expecting. We're not magically going to be transported to April 2006 anytime soon. Mario Williams is a Texan. Try to embrace him just a little bit.
Imagine we drafted Bush 1st and Ryans in the 2nd. We also keep Robaire Smith and go with the original DLine plan of Weaver, Johnson/Payne, Smith, Peek/Babin. We couldn't be any worse there, and we'd have a back that is perfect for Carr's ability to only throw 3 yard pass
