I wish we could scoop one of these top coach that just got fired to come on as an assistant.
Imagine if we could get a Harbaugh or Tomlin as an assistant!

The key is ADD, not replace. And I suspect Tomlin is the more likely of the two to consider it.

I think there is a real possibility we lose Burke so there could be an opening. But we also have in-house elevations we might have to use to retain position coaching talent. But when you have a chance to acquire legendary talent that FITS the culture, you have to do it. (No more Buddy Ryans drama)

That is a decent top 10 list.

I love Demeco, a wonderful person and inspiring coach. I wish we had the same on the offensive side.

I'm with ya there. As much as I love him as a person, and love his defensive mentality, it's not enough. He's the head coach, and the offense is his responsibility too. It's been 3 years of watching piss poor decision making and play calling on offense too many times, especially in the red zone. There have been too many times I've just shaken my head when we come out at halftime and get out coached, don't seem to make the adjustments we need, and settle for field goals, hoping our defense can force some turnovers. Then, we do the same predictable thing again or worse. Sometimes I'm wondering what the heck they are thinking when they run on 3rd and long yardage and come short and punt, or don't run when we only need 2 or 3 yards.

Excellent post; the amazing thing to me is that with so much on the line and having such a great defense, they can't come up with an EXPERIENCED OC. Two "buddy" picks have produced little. When I can call the plays before they are executed, there is a serious and obvious deficiency.
