You mean the 4-3 vs the 3-4 right? And I would love to see mario williams play OLB instead of DE and have to drop back and cover RBs FBs and TEs. There is a big difference between a DE in a 4-3 and a OLB in a 3-4.

I think the point is that Mario could probably play D-line successfully in a 3-4 or 4-3 and Demarcus can play linebacker successfully in a 3-4 or 4-3.

The point your making is accurate, I think, but reflective of the fact that they play in two different areas of the defense.

I mean that if you double teamed Mario, then the defense didnt look until last season, but if you double teamed Ware (I know that happens a lot), they cowboys defense looked good anyway.

I think Dware is better, but Mario is raising his game to become something big.

Im biased, but I do think Demarcus is better...He has a better supporting cast, which in turn let's Ware run wild...

Mario should have a great year, as will Demarcus...

Mario Williams is not better at playing the run.

Demarcus dominates games. More so that Williams has ever really done. Ware started off slow sack wise last year, but still got pressure consistently and was extremely impactful despite playing through injury.

20 sacks the year before. Mostly being double teamed.
Ware got hot after his slump last year, then gets carted off the field in a game. The next week he comes back to defeat the then unbeaten and later SB champion Saints. A game in which he was also superb.

Ware has a bigger motor and more desire than Williams.

Ware is the best defensive player in the league period.

Can I take them both? lol
If I had to choose one, I'd take Mario. Just because I prefer an impact player at the line over impact 'backers. That, and I know I am biased.
