    Maybe you missed my ENTIRE point. They should have traded HOLIDAY TO UPGRADE ON THE WING FOR LONG TERM. Chandler or Gallo would have been a great fit with AD and Cousins. They already have Casspi as a back up, and could have gone for Barnes for cheap as a third.

    I would have traded Holiday and tried to trade Hill. Maybe Minny would have taken Hill for Rubio since they wanted to get rid of Rubio so bad. Holiday plus filler would have gotten them W. Chandler or Gallo.

    Cousins/Dmo
    AD/Cunnigham
    Chandler or Gallo/Casspi/Barnes

    would have been a great start to build on, especially then if you bring 3 or 4 of Rubio, Chalmers, D. Williams, J. Jack, Fredette, Cole, M. Thornton, etc. for your temporary back court to end the year until you can upgrade in the offseason.

    I would NEVER want Rubio on the Rockets under ANY circumstance. But the guy can play defense and make great assists.

    You are missing my main point and making this about Rubio. They could go after any of the other guards I mentioned as temporary stop gaps. My main point is that they should have used Holiday to upgrade their wing position, possibly with either Wilson Chandler or Gallo...or someone else. I don't think Holiday is the PG that they need to run that team, plus he is expiring and may leave.

    Is it possible for them to get CP3? I imagine that the Clippers will be breaking up this year and while it would suck for us it makes a lot of sense for CP3 to go back to New Orleans if he wants to win...not sure what their cap situation looks like though, probably not good.

    Not just this game, any game. A pg who can't shoot just sucks unless he's an athletic freak who will grab boards and slash into the paint every single play.
