Is Chris Andersen in fact a pedophile and now back on heroin?

My point is not the questions themselves. My point is that wouldn't you prefer to live in a world where you didn't have to ask yourself these kinds of questions when it came to Rockets players? I know I would.

Elliott made himself a part of the game. He should be suspended for one week without pay. This is a ridiculos suspension, with the old Sheed Wallace plantation vibe about it.

Meh, some of these guys are just obnoxious.

Duncan and Crawford got into it too. If you aren't a player or a coach shut your mouth and do your job. These are ball players man and sometimes they trash talk. Let the refs handle it and it looks like Tim handled it pretty well.

I want Cousins on this team, would trade anyone but Harden to get him. The guy has lots of potential and has improved slowly since his rookie year. He's 6'11/270lbs. The easiest improvement you can get is physical - clearly the guy can be in better shape and this would go a long way towards improving his game.

Grabbed 11 rebounds in 30 minutes last season. To put this in perspective, he was the 5th leading rebounder in the league and played fewer minutes than the top 10 rebounders in the league.

Went to the line 6 times in 30 minutes last season. Blocked a shot per game in those minutes. Shot poorly for a big at 45%.

Immaturity doesn't bug me as he is actually still a kid at 22 years old. Maturity problems didn't stop Chris Webber, Rasheed Wallace, or Zach Randolph from having excellent careers. Ron Artest is perhaps the loosest canon of all, and he has had a decent career.

My one issue is I don't want him as long as McHale is head coach. If we get Cousins with McHale as coach, it won't work out. Cousins' personality is the type which needs someone who knows how to convince the player to work hard. In the case of Cousins, he has the type of potential where you could legitimately say that it would be worth offering some flexibility to realize his potential. It would not work out with the type who constantly just tells you that you have to work hard, and then bases every assessment on how hard someone works. That might work for many, but not for all and on a young team, not for very long.

Give this guy a fresh start, learn how to motivate him, get him in shape, have him work with CD in the summer. The guy could very easily become a MAX player. By now we should all see very clearly, there ain't no gift-wrapped MAX players walking through the Rockets' doors. We are not the calibre or type of team that can afford to take a pass on this type of high potential talent.

What has Demarcus Cousins done off the court to be compared to Zbo who had his own gang?

Are you serious? Physically assaulting fans back in college and insulting fans and coaches in the present day via twitter comes to mind. Sulking about playing time, the Olympics, why the sky is blue, why water is wet, and taking no responsibility for his own actions comes to mind, just right off the top of my head. But I have a better idea.

    Watch this:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92ckgqsmDwM

It is the most sympathetic portrayal of Cousins I know of, as told by his greatest fans including Calipari. And even this portrays him in his own words as an immature simpleton and lazy worker who blames the media for his image problem rather than himself. Failure to be accountable for your own actions is pretty much the definition of immaturity. And keep in mind, this was a puff / fake journalism piece done to try to mitigate the REALLY awful stuff that was being said about Cousins two years ago. It gets no more favorable, and even this is not favorable.

So watch that and see if that answers your question, and if you then have a better handle on where a lot of these criticisms from NBA fans, scouts, and pundits are coming from.

Demarcus Cousins never physically assaulted a fan in college.

Also like I said Zach Randolph has had Legal Problems off the court so yes your Demarcus Cousins comparison to him is stupid.

On the court yes the comparison makes sense off the court no it doesn't

According to Elliott, Cousins — never known for his maturity or good decision-making — said something to the effect of, “I’m going to bust his (expletive).”

    Nut?

I'm surprised Elliot's co-host doesn't smack him sometimes. He's easily the worst commentator in the history of civilization. God.

Sean Elliot makes Clyde Drexler look like Jeff Van Gundy.

Also: say no to Cousins on the Rockets.

Last nights suspension cost me a win in Fantasy Basketball... I lost by 10 points that Demarcus surely would have gotten
