http://www.news10.net/video/2967810231001/1/POSTGAME-122313-DeMarcus-Cousins---Kings-Center Our players need to listen and learn. It gets quite interesting towards the end. "It's excuses. Guard your man. Do your (expletive) job."
Not really. He is actually their best defender. Not that that is much of an accomplishment. Not to mention he is playing great right now.
I think he's actually playing hard and trying hard on defense, harder than he has ever done. You can't put it on him. He is pretty much controling his behaviour and putting up pretty damn great, and consistant numbers.
Not much of a rant. I'd be frustrated if I were him, as well. The Kings have a good player in Cousins. They need to build around him. I don't have much faith in the Kings to do that, though. I think he'll end up with a better franchise, and he'll really come on strong then.
Who cares, it's frustrating when you lose, especially when you are getting better and the organization does nothing to improve your chances to win.
This might be the first year I disagree. His game has really filled out, and you can tell his IQ on the court has improved. What the Kings really lack is perimeter defense, and general chemistry. They don't pass the ball well (and haven't for years now), and they turn it over too much. I still think McLemore will be a great scorer at the 2, but he'll need another year. Also, getting one of the most inefficient scorers in Gay didn't help.
Did Rudy Gay fall back to Earth already? He gave the Raptors like 5 or 6 good games before reverting back to his nature.
I'm not that shocked at his turnaround. He finally is playing for a real coach. In the preseason he said this was his first time running a true offense since being in the NBA.
Don't care what his stats are, Cousins is not a great player, and I wouldn't want him on my team. He's not a winner. His body language on the court is terrible; with refs, with some of his teammates. Hes like a kid who only wants to play with his friends. He's just immature and I just don't think he'll ever get it. Sacramento has already coddled him and gave him his huge extension. He needs someone to put him in check.
