As someone who was convinced that Cousins would be a star, his antics on the court give me pause. This goes beyond their offense and lack of leadership. He is a straight up headcase. He makes Terrence Williams look like Shane Battier.
Cousins' trade value is being severely overblown in this thread. He has shown to be a headcase and he has put up average numbers on a horrible team. I'm not saying the Rockets shouldn't try to acquire him, but you don't give up the farm for this guy who is a major risk just because of his potential. The Rockets are developing a great chemistry with young players and Cousins threatens all of that, so this needs to be taken into account when determining trade value. The only value I would consider trading would be one or two of the rookies, a pick, and possibly taking on one other contract.
I don't think Kings will trade Cousins unless all hell breaks loose. His attitude is a headache to deal with yes, but you don't trade a very talented player just because of that. The kid is only 22, and is a potential 20ppg 10 rpg guy. The flaws in his game such as shot selection are fixable. If they are not willing to pay too much salary the next few years, they would probably trade Evans and pay Cousins. If they do trade Cousins, it will most likely happen on draft night. If they were smart, they will wait and see if they can draft a blue chip prospect like Zeller or Noels to replace Cousins. If Shabazz Muhammad is available, they will probably trade Evans instead. I'd imagine Sacramento would ask for a package of something like this: -Motiejunas -Parsons -Delfino -Future 1st -And take on Salmons salary. This move gives Sacramento some intriguing prospects, a hard working veteran presence in Delfino, and sheds some salary. Salmons contract is $7,583,000 $7,000,000 for the last 2 years. The last year is only 1 million guaranteed. Lineups after: Lin/Machado (If Rockets dont sign another backup PG) Harden/Salmons (If Rockets don't sign another backup SG) Morris/White Patterson/Jones Cousins/Smith Freddette or Brooks/ Thomas Thornton/ Backup SG Evans/Parsons Robinson/Motiejunas Zeller/Hayes
Then let them die laughing and keep that r****d. Cousins is a center and he's shooting at a lower percentage than Jeremy Lin. That should give you guys a LOT of pause.
Its the Kings organization. I think a new team would help and would take a chance if he ever on the block.
Easy to say, impossible to prove. I don't see Morey giving up core starters (except power forwards which we have a huge excess) for a guy who isn't a proven superstar, let alone a headcase of a big man shooting 41%.
Cousins = Underrated he is the kind of underrated player a la ZBo... ZBo was killer even early in his career, but small things kept him from limelight Cousins, with good management and people willing to win, is an every year AllStar

What happened to the Lamarcus Aldrige talks? Yeah you clowns deaded all the trade for/sign lamarcus aldridge talks after he got hurt for real. clutchfans always point out when i'm wrong, but never mentions the times when i'm right. motherfack y'all figuratively (not all).
If the rockets do get cousins, just move him to power forward, cause he sucks defensively at center anyway.
You guys acting like trading idiot players to good teams won't help their game in the long run. (Javale)
