He's worth pursueing, but we shouldn't clear the house for him, oh and we can't just get him for crap Hill, NY Pick, and Budinger and TPE for Garcia for Cousins and Garcia we should just waive Garcia in the Summer
Where was it written that PPat is the only guy that can make Cousins less of a mental issue? because they played together one year in college? Cousins issue, principally, is that he has a mediocre coach who is a HORRIBLE coach for the situation, and is playing with a talented but extremely difficult to play with ball dominator in Evans. He's never been Luis Scola attitude wise, but I'd venture to bet we'd get the same Cousins here regardless of whether or not PPat was traded out to get him.
Not only that, but Scola is a much better player than Patterson... at least today, and probably for the next couple of years. If they were able to trade for Cousins without giving up Scola, Lowry or Martin that'd be amazing.
And..... Where was it written that we are imminent to trade for him and everything was near done deal?
nowhere... if you have an issue discussing hypotheticals, why have you posted in this thread so much? you have 19 more posts than anyone else.
It would be easier to transition. Even then, it isn't guaranteed. Will he take scolding from Kmac? You know he won't go easy on him especially since he is a big man. I hear his practices are tough and Cousins isn't much of a practicer. As I said before, he is worth it for the right price because Kmac can help him reach his true potential
Not sure if this is correct, but I don't think we trade a player on the first year of their contract. So we wouldn't be getting rid of Dalembert, and they wouldn't be giving us Chuck. So Dalembert would be a great person to have on your team as a backup center. I don't know if it's worth the risk. Don't remember much about the guy, how is his defense? I dunno sounds too risky. We'd likely have to give up a decent amount to have them just give up on Cousins after signing Chuck for a longterm deal. I thought his signing was as much about his on court abilities as his off court. Chuck could mentor him, maybe he isn't willing to cooperate.
I doubt we'd get the same Cousins, I would say we would get a much more motivated Cousins if he did come here. McHale is a great coach for him, and we're surrounding Cousins with people who would pass the ball to him. PPat is a plus because they played together in college. Kings is the worst place for Cousins to develop, and I'm not surprised that his development is stunt with all the young players and depth that they have.
If the Chuckwagon is being disrespected, who will he respect? The Rockets would be a smiliar situation. Players his own age who aren't better than him. Especially at his own position.
I agree. I'm just saying for all we know Cousins and PPat may not have gotten along in college. I'm just curious if people are finding articles or the like pointing to a great relationship between the two.

http://www.iamagm.com/news/2011/03/....patterson.hug.12.seconds.prior.kings.blazers they seem friendly enough hah
They certainly get along, at least somewhat... http://www.lockerpulse.com/News/Hou...rson-Reaches-Out-To-DeMarcus-Cousins-S823590/
All good articles, so I'm in favor of PPat being here to help out. Nonetheless, if it comes down to trading PPat, or trading someone better, they can have Pat, and I'll hope that Cousins figures it out without a close friend to hold his hand. That said, I see the validity of having a friend on the squad given the guys personality.
After watching last night's game, no thank you. That team was beyond selfish. I felt sorry for the chuckwagon, he was giving it his all and yet they still lost to an overrated NY team.
What do we have that they would possibly want? Without Cousins they're weak at the same positions we are: C and SF. If they do want to trade him, they'd probably want a high pick so that they could take another big man prospect.
