Lebron is a better shooter, finisher, passer, rebounder and defender. Athleticism is close, and Rose prolly has a slight speed advantage.
Rose was definitely faster, but other than that, yeah, Lebron is better at everything. Lebron is fast for a player of his size, but it's not like he's one of the fastest players in the NBA. It's the combination of size and speed that he has. Straight line I'd take Rose 10/10.
What else would you expect him to say? "...(counts 1,2, 3) after LeBron, Carmelo, and Durant, I am the best."
LeBron is fast but in a dead sprint. In terms of quickness and first step he is just above average but not elite.
Dude, LeBron pwned Rose when he was 'his old self'. Or do you not want to remember that? Prime Lebron owns Prime Rose everyday of the week, twice on Sundays. And Im not even a Lebron fan, just stating facts honestly.
I think when he said "straight line" he meant in a race - that Rose was faster than Lebron. But, I could be wrong.
LOL what's the point though? LBJ could benchpress more than Rose, what's that got to do with anything? Regarding this question, I think it's right that people call him delusional because he really is if he's saying that. Sure you don't want him to say he's the best after LBJ/KD/DH etc, but there are good ways to say you're good without looking like a dumbass. Something like "I consider myself one of the top players in the NBA" would have done the trick nicely, this just makes him sound delusional esp. since he's coming from injury AND got his ass handed to him while fully healthy by LBJ.
No of course I take Lebron. I'm not a big fan of Rose to be honest. I was simply responding to the poster who said Rose "might have a slight speed advantage." Rose is faster. If they are racing, I'm taking Rose. That's all I meant. Lebron is the best player in the NBA.
