Lol misleading title, I thought this was going to be a thread about a delusional cousin the OP has that thinks Jeremy Lin should be #1 option on this team or something.

Fair point, I also didn't realize his field goal percentage was that low or that he wastes time arguing with refs (I haven't watched a Kings game in years, as I'm not remotely close to Sacramento and they're never on national TV).

For those that do watch, is Cousins really that detrimental to the team on the court? There's a difference between an Artest/Rasheed player (who's a nuisance off the court but plays well) and a Royce White guy.

WAY better? In my opinion, I don't think so.

Cousins is only hated on here because of his mentality. He's already the best player in that quote (in the OP) even with that 'baggage.'

If he takes steps to remedy the situation, there's no question that "nobody" was the correct answer to the question.

Much like John Wall and Tyreke Evans, I think Cousins just needs a change of scenery / change of system for him to excel. After all, 17 or 18 a game, with almost 10 rebounds? In a system as bad as Sacramento? I'll take that, even though he's been benched throughout his career for off-court issues.

I love how my comment turned this thread into a pseudo-D&D btw. lmao

people need to get over the fact that demarcus cousins is the most talented big with the most upside in the league. It's not even close.

The guy is a beast already and he's only going to get better. and Sacramento knows it.

Some can be blamed on poor shot selection, but a lot can be blamed on his teammates. They don't give him the ball in good situations to score. He's played with way too many shoot first players. They all end up looking for their own numbers because they are stuck in a losing situation.

I'll take Favors or Davis over this mental weakly who plays defense like Aunt Jemima. There is a reason his team can't win. By Howards 4th season he was leading the league in rebound and blocks and Orlando was tops in their league.

Favors will break out this year (has been shielded on a strong team behind two Vets) and Davis is younger and will keep improving on a team that will start to win (something Cousins have been unable to do in his 3rd season)

I mention Dwight's 4th season because he didn't have a year in college.

My gut tells me that Favors is special. I just like Davis, the type of person you want teaching your kids basketball.

He could answer differently. He could ignore the question and say, "there are a lot of things that I can improve". The intelligence in this type of response is that it tells the reporter, without actually saying it, you sir are an idiot and I will not answer the questions the way you want me to, I will not be baited into giving dumb fans (yes, I'm one) fodder to destroy me with.
