    I don't know.
Dooling has athleticism, but has always struck me as a guy that looks for his shot first(more of a scorer),almost an undersized shooting guard with good handles....I might be wrong but sort of like Jamal Crawford only smaller.Even though Crawford is listed as a 2 he handles the ball quite a bit. Dooling would be cheap, but am not sure whether he would be right.Actually I wonder how much the Knicks would want for Crawford?
I guess the question is do we want a stop gap to Brooks or a frontline PG now?To me the situation screams for a responsible veteran out top that can bring it.I prefer size, defense, and the ability to hit the J.

    A hybrid 1/2 like Maxwell :D or a younger Antonio Daniels,Ellis (who I'm pretty sure isn't going anywhere),etc......That I would love.

Expirings and a #1...too bad. D-West is hard-nosed and cold blooded. He also was a C when D-Mor was a C. What would his acquisition, or non - interest say about Morey's West convictions?

How are you deducing non-interest from Morey?

I suggested Rox have reasonable assets to make a deal for Delonte. I suggested West is well known to Morey. Therefore, D-West to/or not to Rox is likely a result of Morey's pre-conviction of West's value.

Personally, I have seen a lot of the guy and as I said, he's hard nosed and cold blooded. Get him for 'me'.

Is this the same Delonte West that was benched by one of the worst teams in the NBA?

Were talking about tweaking our lineup not a total makeover so yes this is the same Delonte West whom can play backup point and play "D" on some of the larger point guards.

That player (with the ironic initials of MJ) is sitting on the Rockets bench

Preached this since the beginning of the year during our skid.

Delonte is what the Rockets need. Come on Morey. Do something. Everyone else is making changes to their roster. We don't need big trades, just minor additions like West would be adequate.

Delonte would obsolete Luther AND MJ if he does get here. I don't think Seattle are willing to move Kurt Thomas given how they're almost certain to move Johan Petro now, but getting West and Thomas's expiring for MJ, Luther and Kirk would be sweet.

Delonte is a classic victim of being over coached. The Celtics yanked him around between shooting and point so much that he doesn't know when to shoot anymore. The 2 years they spent trying to turn him into a point guard set him back quite a bit. He is too passive offensively as he tries to set the table, which he's mediocre at.

Having said that, if a coaching staff can get him to realize that he's not a point guard, the guy has a good all around game.

The more I think about acquiring Delonte West, the more I like the idea. Overall, I've always thought he was a very solid player. He's making less than 2 mil a year and riding the bench in Seattle. He should be easy to acquire. We've only got two more days.

He's kind of a chucker, but he definitely can score. I'd much rather have him than Luther Head, that's for sure.

Well, I agree. I want him too. But if we don't get him, I wouldn't say that Morey didn't have interest. It may come down to same deal for Seattle, an expiring and a first round draft pick......and they might go Denver if they think Denver's pick is going to be higher than ours. Morey may be willing to give up Luther and a first on top of sending Snyder and $3 mill cash and Seattle may prefer Denver's deal for whatever reason. Doesn't mean Morey don't want the guy.

Actually, I'd love to see Morey do a deal with Seattle for both Wally and Delonte, send them MJ and all the expirings plus Head and a first rounder in exchange for those two and Seattle's second. I'd do that deal in a heartbeat. Everybody that wants Miller should realize Wally's the better player and he is sitting on a $13 million expiring contract next year, a great peace to keep or trade. Look at Wally's hotzone shot chart. He's shooting crazy on a crappy team.

i don't understand why rockets fans hate head so much he is one of the best shooters on our team.the problem i head is not a point guard and hould only be shooting or doing a pick n go with yao.head can still put the ball in the basket and he is young so why trade him.

delonte is an expiring contract. a first round pick for a half a season rental who has been a third option pg this season is too high.

Wally = another ex-C, but a difficult match for salaries - and, yes, Zerby would look good taking open J's from TMac creatings, Yao double/triples etc. But, you realize, getting Wally would mean Rox couldn't then add KG, right?
