No doubt "white boys" and similar derogatory racial terms for other non-black races are thrown around on the court/field sometimes (mostly via fans though, although "white boy" have been used a lot just as by product of trash talking), but in this case there's no proof that he really said that. .....plus, last I checked, Delonte is more white than he is black.....so.....
Ummm, I never said that's what Delonte even said. So I can't actually be the dog in this situation. Any other half-assed, psuedo-intellectual, musings you have to share before you admit you called someone while performing the exact same transgression?
Exactly. Keep pumping Maya Angelou quotes though....we can all tell how enlightened you are because of her guidance....
Hayward actually said later he was ready to throw down, but he didnt want to get thrown out or suspended...
[D&D response] I don't say that, but I've never seen or even heard of a white guy being offended by it. Most offensive language has some sort of history behind it. Calling a black man "boy" is only offensive because slaves were called boy even if they were grown men and grandfathers. It was a way of continually diminishing their manhood. It wasn't the colloquial "whassup boy" term we use it as today. Calling a white guy "white boy" has no history behind it. I can't say what offends someone but from a racial sensitivity standpoint we can only assume it's as offensive as calling a white guy the n word or a w-back.
he didn't have throw a punch.. he could have simple shoved delonte's arm away from him.. should be instinct to push back if someone puts their hand on you..
You have to admit Jax, he does have about 3500 more posts than you. He wins this round. In accordance with the prophecy.
