There's a Dell commerical with some awesome song playing, but I have no idea what the song is. It's the commercial with the Kung Fu **** in it.

    Ideas?

I love the Dell products, but I think they are going entirely the wrong way...their whole advertising plan seems to be that you can get different colors on the outside of your notebook.

    Big FRICKEN deal !!

Innovate Michael !!...before it is too late !!

Exactly what I've been thinking. They really haven't made any substantial changes. Selling from walmart, colors, etc. They need to do more

    Ease up there Swoly!

I work for a competitor that has hired employees that has first hand field experience in the commercial market. The customers at my company left us to go to Dell, because Dell gave them a better bid. Once they signed the dotted line, it went downhill from there. Some companies lost a large sum of money in dealing with the service nightmare of issues that Dell did not release to their customers, until it blew up. This goes back many years.

Needless to say, we got many of those customers back and they have been loyal ever sense.

If Dell works for you, that's awesome.

I hear ya. But I think the ads work great for the general consumer. Last time I walked around Best Buy overhearing people shopping for laptops, they were clueless. I'm sure these Dell ads would win some of them over.

Also the Dell & HP ads are much better than Apple's. Mac needs to step up their advertisement game.
