Overall a really positive year for DeShields. He is very raw for being the son of a big leaguer and appears to be over coming some of his confidence issues.
274/380/391 Now with 51 steals. He has 12 walks to 14 strikeouts in 20 games for June. He has already set the single-season steals record for Lexington with the 51 steals. Previous record held by Josh Anderson. The South Atlantic League record is 145 by Vince Coleman in 1983. I think Deshields has an outside chance at 100, but no chance at 145.
