Bad things happening to good people. (However, this was reported last summer; that he was not going to be ready for the Season's tip-off.)

    Too bad for Del3no

Delfino is one of those guys I wish had been a Rocket his whole career, I like guys who play with heart and smarts.

Have you been paying attn to the guys we brought in this summer? All of them can shoot 3s. They have a good history of being able to shoot the 3. Had down seasons last year so we got them cheap. We will be fine without Del3no. We could not afford to keep him if we wanted D Howard.

Never fall in love with cast role players... it rarely lasts more than a year or two on a rebuilding team.

The big question is can they defend PFs. He averaged 9 mpg at the PF last season. I don't have the numbers, but I would guess it was closer to 15 mpg towards the end of the season. With Howard and Asik, Rockets are built to go small outside the center position.

    Whoa!

Either you're trolling or you should spoiler that. Not all of us have seen Jeremy Lin: The Movie.

Love sharp shooters like him.....like Jon Barry.

One of my all time favorites though has been Sura. Dude had a fire in him.

With a big guy in the middle again, spacing is going to be nice.

Best wishes to Carlos in his recovery. I really loved having him around, he vaulted right to second on my "Rockets for only one year" power rankings (behind Sura obviously).

Man i miss Delfino! Shame we could only have him for 1 season. I agree with someone earlier who said that he jumped up the ladder quick on favorite all time temp players. He was a lot of fun to watch but honestly, he could also be really frustrating. Still love the guy!

Ugh... Delfino was a warrior for playing through a foot fracture. Not very smart, though. Kevin McHale did the same thing in the NBA Finals one year and now he limps around.

That's a bummer. Huge props to Delfino for showing heart and playing through the injury.

He is currently missed on the Rockets today, that's for sure.
