I'm a fan of the crinkle cut fries.

There used to be one on Memorial Drive near Dairy Ashford....I was as likely to get a burger and fries from there as a burrito.

I haven't had Del Taco in over 8 years when I was living in Albuquerque...loved that place...I know there is one in Plano that I'll have to check out...

The sole Houston Del Taco location on Westheimer and Fondren has sadly closed....damn.

Probably not a big surprise given all the good taquerias in Houston.

I stopped at Del Taco last weekend in Visalia, CA - it was glorious.

There is nothing glorious about either Del Taco or Visalia.

I didn't say Visalia was glorious. The tacos and burrito were pretty damn solid tho.

Had it for the first time this weekend in Phoenix and I loved the tacos. Better than Taco Bell. The quesadilla though was a joke. Horrible

I was too confused by why fries were coming with tacos/burritos to ever go back.

Hahaha, I can understand why that wouldn't sit well in Houston.

The fries in burrito is a total San Diego thing.

Haven't had a Del Taco meal since the 70's or 80's as a kid in Houston. There are a couple not too far from my house. I'm tempted to try it again, just to say I did, and pray I don't puke, but man, they don't look too appetizing on their website. lol. Maybe I'll just stick to my local mom & pop Mexican taco place.

Low rent Mexicali food for stoners and drunks who don't know any better.

There was one on Bellaire and Dairy Ashford back in the 80's that I remember and I remember one of my friends getting screws in his burrito at the one on Bellaire and Ranchester. I saw them everywhere when I went to Cali in the early 2000's and I was like I remember this place from back in the day.
