    It is sad, he's done. Career done.

    All the more reason for us to cheer on the Rockets to demolish the Lakers - then the Spurs - then LeBron and the Cavs in the Finals.

    Deke DESERVES a ring. It is on our shoulders now. Let's get him what he is due.

    Question to Deke: Is basketball over this season?
    Answer: Basketball is over for my career.

    He also said that he will be supportive of his teammates until it is over...class guy

    Dikembe's injury kills me a million times more than the loss.

    I have no problem admitting to the fact that I wept when he was talking about his career being over. Nobody was ready for that...not today.

    Same. I got choked up for the guy. He was one of my all-time favorite centers, up there with the Dream. I really can't believe it.

    He is a hero. Les needs to put his jersey in the stands. If Deke ever wants to coach,the Rockets must hire him. Good luck Dikembe Mutombo,you will never be forgotten. What a glorious career,just wished it could have had a wonderful ending.
