You know what's F'ed up? During the TNT after the lakers game as barkley and ernie was giving out their condolences to Deke. Kenny the Jet smith was poking fun at deke age being 101 when it was 101 playoff games played. WAY OVER THE LINE there kenny the moon bouncer hanging bottom lips

    get well deke.

Deke, you will be missed dearly. :(

You really are one of the best people out there.

I'm honored to have had you on the Rockets swinging those 'bows after your rebounds and wagging the finger after your blocks.

Seriously, you're the best. I hope you recover soon and continue living a happy life.

damn. i am very sad for mutombo. my 2nd fav player to watch on the rockets. first being wafer. enjoyed his 5 yrs of finger wags and shot blocks. wanted him to get a ring so badly. thought he was dumb to sign here when the rockets were struggling. but then we made a great run. some concerns w/o deke. only 1 steal and 1 block for the rockets w/o deke in this game. do not know if that's big thing or not. basketball just lost one the great defensive centers of all time.

Brian cook you better cheer your heart out in the next game. For DEKE.

I love Deke and while I pray for a speedy recovery, I'll say thank you for all that you've done for us and basketball.

God bless, Dikembe. Thank you for everything.

Seriously, what are you trying to say here... He technically still has a chance to get a ring.

For real though, its horrible to see him go this way. I just wanna see one more finger wag.

All good things come to an end. Deke's NBA career and his time in Houston were definitely good things. It's a shame that it happened this way.

What a sad nite for Deke. So unfortunate for him to go out, without him, the Rockets are incredibly overpowered down low.

The slim chances that we had with the Lakers (if we were to go into 2nd round) are dead now.

    :(

Sad to see him go out like that. Now with Deke out, we have no other 7 ft+ guy in the paint besides Yao. When Yao goes to the bench to rest we have to play small ball from now on... Hope that isn't our downfall.

    ditto.

Deke would've owned Bynum and the Fakers.

OK, who's going to go in to a bar and give a memorial, "Who wants to sex Mutombo?!"

Gonna miss ya, big guy. Good thing Morey got us a deep team, just wish he could have found a 3rd center somewhere. Yao needs a breather or gets in foul trouble, we're going to get real small real quick.
