the only can’t miss prospect of the past few years was Luka. Can’t miss prospects immediately turn around a franchise regardless of the parts on his roster. Let’s see if jalen green can lead the rockets to the play in tourney this year. The rockets have the talent
This is not the year to aim for play in. Aim for wemby, that guy will dominate for years to come. If the spurs r choosing to tank for him y r we for doing the opposite
I expect us to tank for wemby at least. Going for play-in is the dumbest thing to do when now the Spurs and literally every other bottom feeding team are intentionally sucking to tank for Wemby.
I agree. He’s one of KPJ best friends. Probably the only guy KPJ would slide to a forward role for That would’ve given the team a huge lunge forward
it's the spurs motto. tank and get a generational talent right after. David Robinson -- Tim Duncan -- Victor W(?). League might reward it to help a small market team who needs a star to draw in fans even after all the championships they've had
One last time. We're so young we'd be foolish not to especially given the strength of this upcoming draft class. Takeoff the following year when OKC owns our pick and we have $ to spend.
looks like a literal piece of spaghetti with a jersey on And people say Chet is the one who will get constantly injured?
I rather we get him and roll the dice rather than another team nabbing him to sht on our a$$es for years to come. All I know is chet got his ass handed to him by wemby
Victor’s the next Lebron level player and guarantees 10 championships the way y’all been fawning over him
Seems like a win-win for both teams. Spurs will truly rebuild and the Hawks gets a player who fits like a glove.
Two lanky 7 footers entering the league one year after the other, both picked in the top 5, but only one will survive... I personally think Wemby moves a little slow too but so many are high on him, and he's still hella young. great qualities tho
I don't know anything about that Wemby kid except that he got a ton of skills/talent judging from his highlights, but I'd feel better about his future in the NBA if he were 7"0 instead of 7"3. Players over 7"2 seem to be much bigger injury risks, especially ones that moves around so much. And on last word on the Murray trade... perhaps we are too often looking at the offensive side of the NBA. Whatever happens with the Trae and Muray fit on offense, on defense Murray should definitely help them immensely. last season w/Trae on court the Hawks had an elite offense and a terrible defense: off rating - 118.19 def rating -116.53 Lastly when Trae is off the court. off rating -110.96
The more important point is that the 2023 class is very strong, just tanking for one dude would indeed be dumb.
