Tim Hardaway was in his what? 5th or 6th season when this all went down?

Completely different scenario - he still had 7 seasons left in him.

Can't believe the vote in this thread sits in TSlacks favor?

The guy has an empty tank and very little left to offer as the premiere player on ANY team.

    You can kiss my Donkey.

I Have my own opinions and after seeing 4 years of T-mac dominate a ball and the others standing around I came up with this conclusion.

You can go to New York and nut hug Tracy all you want. He DOES NOT FIT. My honest objective opinion.

Well I was a pretty big t-mac fan, but I am a huge rockets fan and as far I what I saw he ****ed the rockets last year so **** him. You can want him back, but I don't give a good God damn. I am glad he is exiled and if we don't trade o'well. It was never personal until he was loafing. When people b****ed becuase he couldn't play through back pain and this or that I supported him. Don't go out there hot dogging it when your teammates are busting their ass. He just acted like a straight up sissy.

I really appreciate everything he did here up until last year. Done with him now though. And he ran himself out of town. I didn't vote on the poll that's why its in tmacs favor sure there are plenty who don't like either option.

We get it. T-Mac is the greatest ever. Your insights will be missed after tomorrow.

You know, a while ago when the 8-minute drama was going on, I made a thread talking about how so-called "player's coach" Rick Adelman is pretty poor at dealing with his players, with T-mac just being the latest victim in a long-running trend. I was promptly shouted down and one-starred by some of the morons here.

Look who was right. T-mac still has game and was willing to sign with us for less money next year, but we traded him away for a worse player who makes more than T-mac would have signed for and lost Carl Landry in the process. I would trot out my cries of "Morey the Moron" again but I think this is purely on Rick the Prick.

When I saw him get rejected by the rim on a wide open dunk attempt, at that moment I knew he was done.

Man, is there going to a thread second-guessing Adelman or Morey every time McGrady has a good game? I hoped we were done with that.

I have always believed that Tmac has a lot left in the tank and a lot left to prove.....like getting out of the first round. That being said, even if he averages over 30 pts 6 assists and 6 rebs a game for the rest of this season, the Tmac haters will never admit or believe that the Rockets made a mistake....because it is PERSONAL to all of them...not about basketball.

Good luck to Tmac, and although I have been, still am and will remain a Rockets fan, I have lost a bit of respect for the organization for the way that they handled this situation, and truly believe it would hurt us in trying to sign free agents. But then Morey doesn't believe that we can outright sign any big names anyway and that they would only come in a sign and trade....so maybe that's why it doesn't matter to them.

I think we did New York a big favor. And their picks won't be high ones because this summer they WILL get two of the big names and resign Tmac to have a true TRIPLE-THREAT. Tmac will take less money for them to sign two younger stars such as Lebron and Bosh so that he can compete for a championship and prove all his haters wrong.

Mark it now! NY is still a big money market and Isiah is gone. D'Antoni will be the right coach for something like a Lebron, Bosh and Tmac super trio.

Still a Rocket fan though.

Can't we move all these threads to NBA section? It's going to be really annoying to have GARM cluttered with threads not about the team and filled with T-Mac fanboys.

I don't mind knee-jerk reactions to Rockets players performance(even the Ariza hate) because at least it has to do with us. T-Mac is officially done with the team. And he really shouldn't be part of the discussion.

So should we move all the Gay-Battier threads to NBA Dish? You want to sweep this under the rug because you were DEAD WRONG and it's an embarrassment to be reminded how badly Morey/Adelman botched the situation.

By the way, the crowd is chanting for T-mac like he's The Rock or something. I stand by my claims that the Rockets are a garbage organization.

TMac has also hit 5-5 from the line in this current game.

So he's blowing up in his first game there - was that ever going to be any real surprise? It won't last, and he'll be back to shooting 65% from the FT line again real soon too...

And even if NY don't lose another game all season, that's a big win for the Rockets too because it means Utah gets a crappier pick.

Win because we dumped a whiny loser.
Win because NY are just about to beat one of our rivals in the playoff hunt with TMac having an unusually good shooting night
Win because we're not stuck with his inconsistencies anymore (nor his attitude).

Win because the team TMac is playing last won a title when? And last made the playoffs when?

I'd like to make a claim that you're a garbage poster and, frankly, this BBS would be better off without your whining.

Not enough factors/choices for me to vote. And it sounds very biased.

So I will not contribute to this poll.

    One star.

OMG! Rockets should've traded for Eddie House instead of Kevin Martin. Morey is such an idiot.

How many did he score in the last minute and the overtime period?

Just wondering how his clutch free throws went too?

Regardless everyone said he's done as a player (he's just a expiring), hasn't played big minutes in over a year and still puts up 26pts.
