He is partly right. Golden State is in God Mode tonight. They haven't even missed a free throw. If you want to blame the defense, start by blaming Yao's foot. His absence is clearly felt. The middle is wide open.

They are making off balance jumpers, and shots way outside of the block. They are making the hard baskets. We aren't.
The defense sucks because we have ABSOLUTELY NO interior presence whatsoever. No one can stay with their man and the second they get past them, it is an easy lay-up. We signed Brad Miller and traded for Jordan Hill. Yet, neither of these two guys are playing whatsoever. Instead we have Chuck Hayes (gotta love him) and Jared Jeffries manning our front line. What the hell is this??? Collectively, our team defense is absolutely terrible. You can tell the JVG effect is over. Everyone from those years, sans Yao/Battier/Hayes is gone. The defense is abysmal. Hmm, could this be a coincidence?? Sadly, Battier's decline and Hayes limitations have set us back exponentially on D. I'm not sure exactly what needs to be done, but something definitely needs to happen. When the Golden State freakin Warriors play better collective team defense than you, something is wrong.
I agree that the warriors are hitting shots but this is because the Rockets decided to start playing defense at the end of the 3rd quarter and by then it was too late. Ellis and Curry had already gotten into a rhythm. This team has to be able to play defense for 4quarters not just for 1 (or maybe 2).

It seems like Battier can't guard anyone anymore. He used to shut down the best offensive player. If he can't guard anymore, why don't we start Courtney Lee instead. This is pathetic. Also Brooks ....the love and hate him...he's the reason to let the Lakers back into the game...he turn over the ball...and then failed to guard Blake. Failing to made the last shot in LA and now turning over the ball at the end against the Warriors. This guy is a loser under pressure OR WHAT?
The Warriors have some amazing one on one players. Steph Curry is quicker than he looks and Monta ellis can't be stopped. We tried to play them close but they would either drive past us or hit a tough jumper.
