Last season after he got injured, he actually became better in scoring and rebounding. So I am expecting some new weapons. Better rebounding or less turnover? :)

Hey that doesn't prove anything by itself! Wasn't Yao on a west coast road trip that had long stopage in LA back in December? ;)

No... I am just joking, I don't believe it for a minute. Just found it funny.

Man....the long wait is just like eternity. Picked this up today on sina.com. It looked like Yao Ming is making great progress, but mentally quite frustrated and depressed.

But the good thing is he could now train in his physical workout without the Robocop-like supporting equipment on his right knee/leg, and he is determined to learn more from Mutombo, and to return a more healthy and more powerful and dominating player.

I'm not going to translate the sina.com article word by word, but just the summary of it.

Classic Yao. He figures Deke's doing some things he hasn't been doing, so he's going to watch Deke and learn. This is why he keeps getting better and better even though he's already the best in the game.

Sina's reporter is full of Sxxx. They listen to my radio show this morning and put it on their website. They also made up some false information such as (He needed to bend and scoop solid balls that his physical trainer (Anthony Falsone) threw onto the ground, and threw the ball into the air as high as he could. He kept working on it assiduously, with Falsone giving him high praise for striving to complete such workouts) . They really have good imaginations.

However, 70% of the article is correct. Yao is felling a little better and he is starting to do a little light workout too.

    Andy

Then do come MORE and post to update us more about Yao Ming latest update.....

I don't want 70%.........I want 100%, and I surely don't want to waste my time in doing these sina.com/sohu.com/tom.com translations, only to find out later, they are fabricating the stories....

Don't be too hard on yourself, Yao. You don't need to be guilty or shameful, just need to be proud of your teammates and know that they can play. And everyone here is looking forward to your return.

"Yao Ming said: I felt extremely guilty and shameful."

Yao should be guilty and shameful for the injures he had in last and this year. He should figure out how to avoid the injures instead thinking about Deke plays in his absence. Some players just got injures every year, others never got one or two. Which of them Yao belongs to, we will see. Stop block, or rebound every ball, stop listen to JVG for the 120% effort in 40 mins, play smart insteads of stupid, do the right things according to your ability. By the way, too many injures for the NBA players in this year.

Deke only jumps AFTER the other guy has committed, this sort of limits his injuries....IMHO.
