This is dumb board that doesn't have the edit tool, I press the enter by error and could not get back and fix it.

BTW. I only got one mistake in spelling, maybe you don't know the difference between a spell error and a grammar error, last time I check Firefox doesn't have a grammar check tool. ;)

Snap shots of Yao Ming in action in very limited play minutes in the 2008 NBA All Stars Game.

i loved it when yao shot those 3s. i know he has to want to take them when teams don't even bother going out on him during reg. season games. it's great to see when he got the ball inside the 3pt line, took 2 steps back and shot the 3. and he laughed it off.

now it's time to get serious yao. no more fun and it's time to get that #1 seed :)

As much as a Yao fan I am, as much as I want to see him play the whole game, I think it is better for his next game. And it looks like Yao doesn't care too much about the game either.

Yao Hook Shot: Missed Block: Howard (1 BLK)

D.H. spiked it out of bound too... Even I felt embarrassed after that blocked cus Yao could've easily dunked that.

I know but the box score said it was a hook shot for some reason so I just copied it from there.

Anyways, the point is Yao could've dunked that EASILY...

I noticed that too. They don't mind other players put on a show (like one fancy dunk), but when it is Yao's turn to do it, they will foul him as if it is a regular season game.

Take it easy, and don't blame it on Bryon Scott.

Big Yao specifically asked not to be played for more than 10 minutes.

He has a BIGGER picture in mind, reserving his energy for the Houston Rockets for the next game versus Lebron James & Co. (Cleveland Cavaliers) away on Tuesday rather than to waste his energy in such meaningless flashing/showboating All Stars Game that he always said he is a mis-fit.

Yao didn't think DH would be so serious in the ASG. I think it means that Yao is a better center in DH's mind. Yao is the person that DH needs to defeat!

DH is just like a good looking girl who can't tolerate another girl in the ballroom looks better than her, even that girl doesn't dress up at all.

Nobody was playing defense at the beginning of the game, DH just want to show himself out there, nobody was challenging him in the other end at the beginning.

When Yao did the baseline move and made DH look pretty bad, he grab him for no reason, nobody was grabbing him when DH was dunking, actually at the beginning of every ASG nobody do that because nobody wants to get hurt or hurt another player and is a show, and players let this things go.

You can tell DH was trying to hard to be the star while Yao was just having fun and letting other have fun too. Maybe DH was trying to make a point for being outplayed in the real head o head match up against him.

Agree. I don't think Yao take that shot very seriously. He was just expecting some very relaxed defense.

It was just a show, I don't think Yao cares much.

He's an idiot if he did a hook shot right next to the rim with no one infront of him. It looked like a layup to me. I wanna see a replay.

I do want to take this moment to point out how many times the other all stars turned it over trying to pass to yao.

Apparently it isn't as easy as yall complain that it should be.

If Steve Nash has problems doing it, don't complain when someone like Head or Brooks has problems getting it inside.

As for the All Stars I actually enjoyed the game, though it was a turnover/dunk fest for the most part, you could tell in the last quarter they were trying to win.

Also, can I just say.. how much I love New Orleans Jazz scene. That halftime show was WAY more entertaining than anything I have see during the Superbowl or any awards show.

Gimme Harry Connick and a bunch of talented Jazz legends over Justin Iamsucky any day!

I didn't see Steve Nash having any problems with anyone. Anyway, comparing passing in a dicombobulated offense in an all-star game to passing in a structured offense where there is supposed chemistry makes no sense. Luther Head is a poor post entry passer plain and simple. And nothing that happens in a all-star game is gonna change that.
