Honestly, I'm glad to see that big Georghe is still alive. I really thought that he may have passed on ala Andre the Giant.

Anyone remember the game when Hakeem's Dream Shake made Muresan just fall over?

Straight up BS to play him only 13 minutes. I am glad he got the rest but he played the least amount of minutes not counting Kobe's injury shortened time. Scott is a moron the fans voted Yao in. That is just f'kedup!

c'mon, u really think yao would make the game exciting?

and why are u mad? yao got his rest. no injuries. he had his fun w/ the 3s. i'm sure yao would rather stay in houston with his family.

The All Star game is not Yao's type of game. The game is about playing fast pace, showing your atheletic ability, and playing no defense. What can Yao do? He's a liability in those type of situations and just becomes a dunking target.

with 5 minutes left in the game he should have went back in...

I noticed... players dont like to give the big stiff... easy dunks...

Howard...just grabbed... the big stiff on one of his post moves..

and I remember in past years Shaq doing the same...

thought you played no defense in all star game

This All-Star game is the boring game i seen in years. For one, they're missing several key players that can put on a show such as Garnett (injured), Kobe (injured), Shaq, Carter and Tmac. That's why this All-Star game is so boring.

But the Dunk Contest is the best i seen in a long time though. Howard put on a show.

Yeah it's a double standard for Yao. They don't want him to make them look bad. It's okay though Yao schools them all in the regular season.

You must be smokin dope....Yao played horribly and I'm a homer more than any but it's a waste of a text....I don't disagree with Scott's decision, Yao's disinterest in the game factored into his decision to not put him back out there

It doesn't matter if Yao is suited for these type of games, isn't the whole point of fan voting so we could see them play? Why vote then? Let them put Yao in as a reserve. I don't care if he doesn't score or is slow, I voted to see him play, period. Not huge minutes, but 13? c'mon. stupid.

I think Yao played ok. I guess Scott didn't play him a lot because Yao didn't really want to.

In addition, do you guys realize the hornets' next game is to play with Mavs. This may be the reason why Scott played Dirk a lot! ;)

    What a waste of time...

I rather watch Yao played for 5 mins in the beginning with 80% intensity than 13 mins of pure garbage. The guy came out and looked like a b**** getting swatted and dunked on... wtf.

BTW, I think Scott knows that Yao and Kobe don't need this showtime. Anyway, they will still be starters next year. But, other players really need the playtime! :)

we all know Yao played bad, but that is to be expected from a player like him, Duncan only had 4 points as well, ..there is no reason to call Yao a b****. He didn't even get swatted (got dunked on twice though?). I dont get your hate for Yao.

You could tell Yao was just fooling around by chucking threes later on, no one judged his performance today...except some people who expect Yao to be like Dwight Howard or Stoudamire

Actually, I think Yao played well, specially for the defense. :)

Yao problem was he play along with AI and Melo. This players are so bad in defense and have such a poor decision maker than the west was out playe every time this two played.

    Melo -11
    AI -14

No wonder Denver are so bad defensibly. This two turn the ball over a lot, never got back in transition and take the worts shoots with no ball movement a poor decision in offense.

Yao never got the chance to play with Paul and Roy, they probably would make a better use of Yao and Duncan in the court at the same time.

You notice once this two got in the bench the West outscore the East every single time no matter who was in the court.

Agreed! If Tmac was there, it would be different. He can pass the ball well to Yao.
