Decker probably a minor upgrade to fill in, but Corey Davis and Adoree Action Jackson are new after-burners, which is something the Titans have sorely lacked at WR and Return. They've got everything else; line, qb, rb, te. We'll see how they do what they do.
i hear the media keep saying no excuses for jameis winston this year, when in fact there should be no excuses for mariota. Titans have a top 3 oline, top 3 run game, top 15 defense, added some weapons on the outside. Jameis has a much worse team and plays in a much tougher division
Think Decker running out of the slot will be more valuable to Mariota this year if he can stay healthy. Like Fuller, Davis will have his share of drops which is killer for a QB. Decker is pretty nails.
The NFC South is a much tougher division? I'm sorry but that division hasn't been overly impressive, despite strong seasons from the Falcons and Panthers. No consistency year to year and the defenses in that division are usually bad (heck, the Buccaneers are the only one of the 4 not to allow 400 points). The AFC South has sucked, but for the most part so has its counterpart. I think both divisions could actually be good this year, but neither has proven themselves to be good year to year. Winston has Mike Evans, Desean Jackson, and OJ Howard, so he has weapons (with Evans and Jackson being proven). The Bucs allowed fewer points than the Titans (though more yards, and both teams were close in both categories). The Titans gave up the 20th most yards & 16th most points, but are a top 15 defense? At the end of the day, both teams should be competing for a playoff spot, and both QBs have enough around them to be Top 10 QBs.
the titans are better at all skill positions except qb and 1 wr, maybe throw in gerald mccoy. dont the titans have dic lebeau as their d coordinator. the league is giving mariota every opportunity to outplay winston, but winston will not be denied. The titans stole the bucs gm that drafted jameis, mariota is just another running running qb. winston is the next big ben/ john elway type of qb
