I am reminded of what Floyd said on 24/7 in the build up with Mosley when Shane criticized him about fighting for money.

"Of course I fight for the money. I'm a prize fighter you f__king dummy."

Don't hear a lot of that talk now...

Mayweather is not going to let Bob Arum , Top Rank dictate the fight negotiations. I will still among other millions continue to buy his pay per views once again. I mean Mosley wanted to fight Pacman, but guess what happen to that?? ;)

What happened with that is, that Freddie Roach wanted no part of that fight. He didn't want Pac to step in there with Shane because he knew Shane would give him the fight of his life. Instead, put him in there against a punching bag with arms in Clottey.

this is the only fan I want to see in boxing anymore. I use to be a huge boxing fan but after years of disappointing big name fights, I care less and less about the sport. I know watch every single UFC payperview, the excitement in the UFC trumps boxing whole hardily.

Floyd Mayweather is a joke, he is scarred of Pac-Man, and knows that he will most likely lose this fight. If he was about money he would know this is the biggest possibly fight for boxing in the past 10 years and would do wonders to revitalize the sport. Hopefully people will begin to see him as the coward he is now.

Freddie Roach HIMSELF told Shane that he is too good of a fighter for Manny. Do your research kid. He told him no TWICE.

"Shane came to the gym twice to ask me to let him fight Manny," Roach says. "I told him no both times, and both times for the same two reasons: First, there isn't enough money there, and second, you're too good a fighter."

    http://articles.latimes.com/2010/feb/02/sports/la-sp-dwyre-pacquiao2-2010feb02/2

funny how he said there isn't enough money there, then they turn around and ****ing fight Joshua Clottey. Shane agreed to everything for a Pac fight.. even to drop all the way down to 140. Still... they weren't having it. Pac fought Clottey, Floyd fought Shane.

Anyway we are derailing the thread. Fact of the matter is, both camps are full of p*****s.

Roach also admitted that Floyd is a tough match for Manny. But there's a lot of money to earn here. The problem here is Floyd want to take most of it and at the same time, he'd like to more advantanges on top of being the bigger man.

    p***y camps statement. true.

but to slightly defend pac on the last paragraph, i think maywether will not drop the weight and be at least 5 pounds ovr and not give a rats ass and pay the fine. same stuff he did to marquez, regardless of maywether being the bigger fighter. imo thats one of many solid reasons why he won. again imo.

The Marquez fight had nothing to do with weight. Floyd would have dominated Marquez the same way at any weight. Also there is no catchweight agreement for a Floyd/Pac fight. Manny is now a full welter, so the limit is 147. Plus there was like a $10,000,000 per pound over the limit penalty agreed upon. Not likely Floyd is going to just give away 20-30 million.

Also about the weight.. Manny weighed more,on the night of the Oscar fight.... between 1-3 pounds if i recall correctly. If Manny would have weighed the same as Oscar the same thing would have happened.

Yeah everyone knows Floyd is a tough match for most, just like Manny would be a tough match for most. But to blatantly just tell the other fighter who wants to fight your guy, that he is too good to fight him, seems like a blatant duck. But nobody says **** about that. Had that been Roger Mayweather telling Pac that, everyone would call Floyd a ducker.

I'm not saying Pac ducked Mosley.. because I honestly think Manny is down to fight anyone they put in front of him. Problem is, too many hands in his business. Everyone makes his decisions for him. If it was strictly up to Floyd and Manny... just them two, this fight would have already been signed or would have already happened.

hate on lesnar all you want the dude is an athlete, an astounding collegiate wrestling record 106-5 overall 50-2 in division 1. He ran a 40 yard dash at the combine of 4.75 weighing over 300 pds. Sells 1 million ppv buys any time he fights. Nice name play on carwin real cleaver.
