The sick part about this is that Mayweather has heart to weather a pac storm, but his ego is so out of wack that he has to believe that the fight is a guarantee before he signs his name on the line.

I had a friend who went to the last Pacquiao fight in Dallas. They were basically just watching the fight on the giant TV because the fighters were just too far away from where they were sitting.

Even if I lived in Dallas, I'd rather get it on PPV.

My friend went to the last pac fight at Cowboy Stadium and said you can see from anywhere because if thee big ass screen. That screen is bigger than any screen at a sports bar. Plus you add in the big fight atmosphere. And 50 if cheaper than the Ppv itself.

50 is cheaper if you're watching it by yourself. but if you watch it with your group of friends then you'll just have to chip in less and. ....

1 hour left until the deadline. Arum will have a conference call with Manny and Floyd to see what's gonna happen. Arum says this is it, he gave his deadline. ESPN however, is reporting that the deadline is bull****. Arum is still willing to negotiate.

    conference is at 2am central..

I think if the fight doesn't happen now, it will happen next year. Floyd seems to be having tax problems and his uncle trainer might be doing some time come his trial in Augest.

    pacman vs margatito
    Mayweather vs Paul Williams

Winners fight each other for the ultimate crown.

Mayweather will NEVER fight Williams. Well, maybe after Williams turns 38.

Haha! Wow, so what ESPN said was true. Arum basically just finished saying that he will still be open to negotiating with Floyd after tonight. This "deadline" was in fact, bull****. It's funny, Freddie Roach said this was a way to call Floyd's bluff. But Floyd called theirs. Seems like a battle of egos at this point. But isn't Manny's ego versus Floyd's. It's Arum's verses Floyd's.

Neither fighter should be blamed... blame Bob Arum.

Arun said that the deal can still be done as long as there's no contract to fight againsts either cotto or margarito. but for now, deadline has passed and they can peacefully start to negotiate for other opponents. that makes sense.

The deadline was just a deadline for talks with Mayweather only. So since he didn't sign, they're free to get a fight done with other boxers. But if Floyd comes around in the next 10 days, then it could happen. The "deadline" was just set there for Mayweather negotiations only and not other fights. Deadline past, so now they're free to pursue fights than the Floyd fight.

i think that was fair. Negotiate with Mayweather only until a certain point and then open it up for other fights. That way they focus on the main fight at hand and if it falls apart, you move to Plan B. That is how a lot of business deals are done.

I think that is also fair. However, the two bull**** opponents that Arum picked for Pac is r****ded as ****. Pac already beat Cotto, a rematch is pointless. And Margarito should never be allowed to box professionally again, he is a disgrace to the sport. Neither of those fighters is even a legit challenge for Pac. I understand that from a money standpoint it makes sense, because both of those opponents have entire countries behind them.

But real boxing fans couldn't give 2 ****s about seeing Pac beat both of these guys up. It's pointless.

But anyway there is some guy that says he has an inside source that told him that the deal was in fact already done and they will announce it next week. This conference call and deadline bull**** was just to stir up some more ****. But he could be an epic troll.
