Good idea. I'd suggest that, instead of pouting in self-righteous ignorance, you go read a history book.
That chick that slept with the good friend of the guy who was a pilot... well, she was a slut. I won't forget I screamed "SLuuuuutttt!!!!" at her in the theater.
Only person here to mention the hollywood movie. At least we now know where you get your history from.
Man Donny... You got me pumped today. I'm fixing to go to my boss' office and give her a piece of my mind... In other news... CheezeyBoy was fired because he was simply jacked up on mountain dew... When they asked him what got him fired up... he simply said... DonnyMost....
My Grandfather was involved in the Battle of the Bulge. He tried to watch Saving Private Ryan once. Made it a few minutes in, and promptly left the theater. The one thing he always told me to do was to get a college education and never join the military, and this was a proud conservative American from the farm lands. Yes, there will always be ethical questions and human rights questions raised. Yes, the US reacted in some harsh and ignorant ways (i.e. the Internment camps)... but ultimately, I have to conclude that the bomb was justified to protect freedom and prevent another huge loss of human life. I despite war and the egregious amount of money the US dumps into the military these days... but WW2 is what made the country what it is today. A fine generation of Americans those people were.
I don't think we won the first Iraq War. We won the battlefield, but Saddam stayed in power, continued to thumb his nose at the United States, brutalized people in his nation to regain full control, regained a position of fear broker in the Middle East, etc.
