I'd rather keep Lawson and see how he gels. He's starting to get it going a bit. Finding his role per say.
It wouldn't surprise me if no one gets traded in December. The team seems to be doing a little better, so they may want to see what in the coming weeks. I don't see what good trading Jones is going to do if you can't get back a quality PF, and that may not be easy to do. Is DMo ready to play heavy minutes? Is Harrell ready to step into the rotation? Furthermore, is Lawson or KJ even worth much? I mean I don't see why we would make a trade just to make a trade.
If we trade Lawson I'll be sorely disappointed. He's a great player. These last ~20 games don't null his 15/10 year last year, or all the other great ones he's had. Plus, like you said, he's beginning to gel. His numbers are going up steadily. He's also driving more and getting it to the big man down low.
I'm good with dishing TJ, Brewer, KJ... I dont see Lawson getting dealt - his value has to be at an all time low and I still have hope that he can regroup and take the ball out of Hardens hands on bringing the ball up... I'd like a vet (even a diminishing one) that might bring some maturity to the team...
It will be interesting to see if anyone does not suit up tonight. Has there been any trade in the NBA since the season started? I can't remember seeing anything. Usually something happens by this time.
Ruh roh... that dude has serious value. Clutchfans opinion so far: Jones 8 Brewer 3 KJ 6 Lawson 4 Dekker 2 Montrezl 1 Ariza 1 Beverly 1 The anti trade posts Lawson -4 Jones -1 Based on votes, KJ and Jones are the most likely to be traded. Not that it matters, but if they go in the next few days, it officially means I predicted it. Just like I predicted the Bucks would beat the Warriors.
No you haven't. Somebody else responded to one of my posts that he was done. I think it was malakas. But I've never said that because I don't believe it. I've watched him play. He's the same player. He's just not what Hoiberg wants out there offensively. But he's still very much a great defender/rebounder and a very effective leader. I like me some Noah. And he'd be great here backing up Dwight and playing alongside DMo and whomever else we acquire to play spread-4 for us.
