I was giving them credit for wins over Cleveland, Sac Town and Memphis but you may be right. Even if we make an incredible rally once Yao/AB return, the 8th seed was nice last year but this year, it would be a horrible outcome. I HATE hate HATE to use the word "tanking" but.....
agreed. i dont think they are tanking, they just can't win. time to sell off some assets for cap space and picks. no sense winning meaningless games. remember when we lost out on brandon roy by 1 game? or last year when we tried to make the playoffs without yao? you have to know when its your time to contend and when you should play the lotto. this year we need to play the lotto.
The Rockets could trade Scola, but it will be difficult since he is and will continue to be a base year contract until next year. The capologists can eleborate on the money issues regarding trading a BYC.
