When Mike Miller is back to 100%, the heat will have a better option during clutch time.

Umm not quite. You may want to go back and check how Mavs/Spurs series have turned out this decade. They are very competitive and match up very well. Both teams always stand a chance. Now if it were Mavs/Lakers you'd have a point.

i think this is key. they rely on wade and lebon so much and don't let them be finishers in the 4th. with miller who can play point forward, that will free both lebron and wade up to roam around for some easy buckets.

It's the regular season, people always underestimate the Spurs. Their record may be the best right now, but I reckon they still have another level they can play at... and we will see that in the playoffs.

Okay. I don't see how Dirk was choking in the 4th. Everyone contributed in that 4th q and because he didn't hog the ball doesn't mean he choked. JET had the hot hand so they went to him. When Dirk got to the line, he took care of business as well. And Dirk and Terry are the 4th q options. They hoped Butler would be that but he's not.

For the past 2 seasons he's played 50 games in each... Tyson has become an injury prone big man, wouldn't be surprised if he isn't 100% for the playoffs.

The Mavs don't underestimate the Spurs thats why they don't get Owned by the Spurs. Both teams always have a chance when they meet up in the playoffs no matter how bad the other is going into the series.

If he isn't 100%, the Mavs have other defensive oriented big men including former Spur Ian Mahinmi. They don't require much from their Center but to be a presence in the lane. The Mavs have the numbers in depth to make up for the lack in quality of their centers.

and what makes you think manu will play at the same level in the playoffs? he's never logged this many minutes in the reg. season.

tim duncan is following david robinson's decline path.

the spurs are deeper yes, but their big 3 are getting older.

he took 4 shots in the 4th, and nothing were close. he airballed a 3pt shot and bricked another wide open 3. that's choking under pressure.
