You forgot Joe Leiberman. I'm not looking forward to seeing Franklin Raines as part of the Obama administration.
That's good because you won't. Despite the lie perpetuated by you and your brethren (i busted you or somebody on this weeks ago in another thread) - Raines has no official capacity within the Obama campaign and never has. There's an unverified clip in the Washington Post Style section online that said Obama once asked Raines about housing issues - that's it. Tabling the fact that it's even true - Liars then took this and FREEPER morons started calling him "Obama's chief economic adviser Franklin Raines" His economic advisers are plain as day for all to see. Goolsbee and Liebmann. Comprae that to Holz-Eakin, Gramm, Fiorina, and Hassett - that's not even a contest, that's police brutality. Like whenever you try to post substantively. I would like to discuss McCain's foreign policy though - he's surrouned himself with Kagan, Kristol, and other disastrous neocon rejects. HOw stunningly scary it is that his dwindling band of followers somehow believes McCain has the advantage in foreign policy. Please look at GWB's tenure to see the fruits of this record.

Honestly, a lot of people's minds are made up already...Obama or McCain supporters won't get swayed too much regarding tonight...They would have to royally f' up and that's a possibility...
McCane has to show up big tonight or you can start calling Obama the next President of the United States. I expect the debate to come out fairly even unless McCane goes really negative. If he does that he is done and I think he knows that but I am not sure he can control himself at this point.
I liked how McCain's response was "almost as many as the number of houses I own." Seriously though, the poll should have been public. I would have found it amusing to see who has voted so far (I haven't).
I think that's noble of you, but why wait? Do you honestly think there is anything that could happen in this debate tonight that would get you to declare Obama as the winner?
Tom Brokaw won this debate. He was clearly the smartest guy on the stage, and made fools of both candidates on Afghanistan.
I think this was a draw. I think that McCain did a better job addressing domestic issues especially by his proposal to address mortgages. While I still don't agree with McCain on the issues I think within the context of the debate he made some decent arguments and seemed very comforatable. Obama seemed a little less comfortable but did a very good job of defending himself against McCain's attacks and got in a few good counter punches. This was a draw but unfortunately for McCain he needed a knockout.
Debate itself was close. Obama killed McCain on insurance though. Being that McCain needed to win this debate and he should have since he excels in this format, but he didnt, Obama comes out as a winner in terms of the Big Picture. PS. McCain's idiotic moment? Pointing to Obama and saying "That one!" LOL
Obama won by a nose......and in presentation...Obama by a landslide....McCain looks old and worn down. Not Presidential at all. DD
Well that's the thing, Obama has such a big lead now in the projected electoral map that McCain NEEDS decisive and clear victories to make a legitimate push. A tie goes to Obama.
I give Obama the win simply for his eloquent and coherent rebuttal of McCain's health care commentary. Even if you think his ideas are wrong (which would be surprising...) you have to admit his presentation was, frankly, dramatic. From that point on Obama seemed much more confident. And I'm glad he took on mccain's pakistan lie.
No, it doesn't. Zogby shows Obama ahead, like every other poll. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/us/general_election_mccain_vs_obama-225.html Of the last 30 polls, 28 show Obama with a lead. The last showing McCain with a lead was nearly 2 weeks ago. Everyone agrees Obama has a substantial lead right now - including McCain's advisors and GOP strategists. Pretending otherwise is really silly.
