Doctors and patients have never made that decision. If you have private insurance, your insurance company makes the decision. If you have public insurance, the governing body makes it. Sometimes I wonder if you can get any more ignorant about the topics you choose to discuss, and it never ceases to amaze me that the answer is always yes.

I guess it is better to have it be a 'Business Decision' than a 'Governmental Decision'

As as the decision is made on how much it will cost the company and can be justified by a profit margin/ balance sheet. Then it is ok.

In fairness to basso, he doesn't actually ever discuss topics. He links to random blog posts and news articles and disappears when their flaws are pointed out by others.
