So, for the record, you are the one that has a personal problem here. I simply pointed out that I don't think it is proper to keep calling people idiots. No, it's not. Being a premier defensive team is better than a premier offensive team. But it doesnt mean it will bring you the championship automatically. Actually we were the one of the best defensive team last season even without a healthy team.(opponent 42.3% FG, 91.0 PPG)

This coming from a guy who just started a thread calling others idiots because they expressed their opinions on basketball. Sounds like minding your business to me. Right. Look, I understand the point you were trying to make, and I actually agreed that asking for the coach to be replaced at this point is silly. You will just have to live with it that if you try to underscore your point by calling others idiots, someone will tell you it's wrong. Well, the example you quoted is wrong, too. I guess it is one thing making a knee-jerk post and another thing starting a whole thread calling people idiots and then reveling in the applause one gets for it, so that stands out more. Nobody appointed me as the post police and I am not going to comment on every post that is out of line, but when someone starts a thread calling people idiots and then keeps going on and on with the same schtick, he should be able to take it when someone says that he thinks it's wrong. Maybe. As I said, I do understand the point he was trying to make, and to an extent, I agree with it. It is silly to call for the coach's head after every loss, and it is obviously irrational to call JVG an idiot. Inevitably, there will be losses during an NBA season, and I think this season has been a good one so far (even though we just lost three in a row). But I think that knee-jerk reactions to losses and calling players or coaches, who are public figures, idiots, is sort of a fan's privilege. Constantly calling other fans idiots is not. Example: You are in Toyota Center. You are mad. You boo JVG and call him an idiot. You're a fan, you can do it. Can you keep calling the fan next to you an idiot? No.
You are thinking too highly of yourself. You are not important enough to be stalked. If you think criticizing you for not stopping to call people idiots is "stalking", tough luck. You put this thread out here, so you will have to live with it that I respond to it as long as it is open.

so, unlike Batman Jones...I don't have a girl friend who goes to sleep early or late to give me an excuse to post here. But like Batman Jones...JVG is the ****. but like SJC says...i'm not so hot on the "your an idiot" posts like I used to be. but like Batman Jones says...SJC is a stalker when you get a rep for bashing people. all I know is I'm smitten. I'm smitten with JVG and this team....and another. with that....I could freaking care less what people say about JVG. to me...he is the best coach on the planet for this team. does that make him COY...I don't know. I don't want to be the coach, I want a coach who is going to be able to take this talented team to where it needs to be... JVG - he ain't it. And I find it so ironic that you are criticizing me, when you were the KING of posting plays and cricizing other coaches. Pot - Kettle - Black. I am glad you guys like the team and the type of game the Rockets play, I like the wins, but personally think the team is underachieving. I also agree with SJC...Batman posted the personal dribble he needs to be tough enough to take it as he is dishing it out. The Poster McGrady? He just likes to pile on....and is as soft a poster as the real McGrady is on the basketball court....CHARMIN soft !! DD
