Do we really have to have this after every damn broadcast ...This thread remind me of a bunch of old gossiping women, like a freakin episode of golden girls or something...pathetic ! just watch the game and pay attention to the action on the court.I probably don't hear 90% of what ANY broadcast team says because I'm too busy actually paying attention.

Always feel like I'm the only one that genuinely likes our crew. :(

I'm embarrassed at all the hate for one of the greatest houston and rockets legends ever.

It should be embarrassing when a NBA legend doesn't even know basic basketball plays and doesn't take his job seriously. He has no clue of the players out on the court and all our players are all-stars, Parsons apparently can guard all positions and Asik should be called curly. He should be embarrassed of himself for doing a lousy job and showing up to work like that. He admitted he wasn't a really hard worker when he was in the NBA so guess that still holds true, old habits die hard.

this may come as a surprise, but just because you were a good basketball player doesn't mean you are a good commentator. Clyde contributed greatly to our championship run. But for several years now he's also been contributing to the lack of quality that has come to characterize Rockets' broadcasts. He literally undermines my enjoyment of watching a home game. He doesn't seem to take his job seriously.

Now i'm sorry, you don't let the guy continue to coach U of H when he's doing a bad job. why are Rockets' broadcasts any different? In the real world, when you don't do a good job, you get fired. This is no different.

Being a Rockets' legend doesn't entitle you to a permanent golden parachute that includes the right to go on air badly prepared, spout ignorant things, fumble over names of players on the team, and add little to nothing of value from a basketball substance standpoint.

it's nice to see drexler even if he isnt the greatest commentator...it's the least i can see from a building team and an upcoming long year.

OMG OMG he doesn't always pronounce names correctly ... burn him !!!!

I guarantee that for every one of the vocal minority on this board, trying to tarnish the image of a Houston legend, there are thousands of fans who love the guy.If Les fired Clyde the backlash would be huge.He is here to stay for as long as he wants a job.So what if he isn't a perfect commentator, most former athletes aren't. So stfu and turn your television down !

Not gonna lie.. It can be quite annoying having to listen to Clyde's commentating. Also guilty of hitting the mute button every now and then when it gets beyond tolerable.

Respect and loved him as a player but come on! :(
