People need to stop using the Saints as an example...its really dumb! Go look at their turnover margin from last season ...smh
Yes they created a lot of turnovers but they also allowed more points, passing yards, and rushing yards than the Texans last season. Edit: I also want to point out that the Saints averaged 32.5 points per game last season. We're averaging 32 ppg so far. It's not too dumb to compare the teams, eh?
of course it's not dumb. THe saints defense was/is opportunistic. Thus far, the Texans have been similar. Against the colts, they got a big turnover after manning completed a deeppass down the middle, getting them within scoring range...but Pollard caused the fumble. Against the redskins, they didnt get the turnover, but they stepped up big they were needed the most.
