You can get away with a defense like this if it creates turnovers. If this secondary can come away with some of those almost picks.... It would do wonders.
So if Hall wasn't covering AJ yesterday, was he covering Walter (11 for 144 and a td) or Jacoby (6 for 53 and a td)? If he's so good, who did he shut down that even remotely shows he could shut down the best WR in the game?
That is what D-Hall said before the game about Johnson. I guess after the game was just frustration talking.

Okay maybe the guy really is ignorant. From his fantasy update on yahoo (LOL): "Hall says he knows what his team needs to do to win: have him cover each opponent's top receiver. Hall says Monday it doesn't matter what Redskins defensive coordinator Jim Haslett thinks because, Hall says, "This is my team, this is my defense.'' I'd put secondary as Landry >>> Doughty = Rogers > Hall
So who was Hall covering Walter? He had a mediocre day 11 for 144 and a TD. Or was it JJ with 6 for 53 and a TD. Or was it Shut the Hell Up Hall, you helped give up 500 yards passing and you had no PD or INT!
Saints pass defense was above average last year, because they forced tons of turnovers. Now you could say that they were lucky, or that it's not a feat one can duplicate from year to year. But at least last year, they were formidable due to their ball-hawking ability. If the Texans want to go to the SB the way of the Saints, we need to up the opponents INTs and fumbles.

Carr almost made him break his neck. That game was Dre's coming out party and everybody said he was a star in the making.
Yap yap yap yap yap. Only two men can brag and say what Hall just said. That's Revis and Aso...Hall is not an elite CB, not even the best on his team. Shut the F up. You better be happy you don't see him again or you'd end up burnt again like Courtland Finnegan.
That doesnt really makes sense...if they play zone, then Im sure a good handful of the 38 completions had to have been on Hall. Its not like he's sitting there locking down half the field with his incredible zone coverage. Regardless of his play against AJ...Hall still was part of a secondary that got completely torched. His play was no better than anyone else back there.
