Just saw Deandre Jordan in line at Potbelly on 59 with my son. Dude is enormous !!!! Guess he didn't make the cut for the sophmores this year. He was decked out in his Clipper gear . . . was with him mom.

Jordan, and dozens of other high school basketball gods, should have stayed in college for a couple of years and sharpened his skills. Instead he went for the short-term money and now he is in basketball purgatory. No education. No marketable athletic skills and no future. What a caring agent. He apparently took the money and ran, and sadly left this kid out to dry. What a tragic story. Oh well there's always Euro ball or China. What a waste of talent and potential. I hope he doesn't end up like most young men in his position--used and abused.
He did have 20 boards in a game last year - kid has potential - but all in all - I agree And - i'm guessing that was mom - she ordered his sandwich and told him to go get his jacket from the car - that it was too cold.
