I think DeShawn Stevenson will be available shortly. He played one minute in game one and Sloane sent him home after getting into an argument with him. An ill-disciplined player would fit right in with our offensive "system". He's young, too, so he has a lot of unrealized potential.

TheTruth, do you want to know the truth? I know Bag0b0y (granted we don't hang out like we used to). In fact, I introduced him to fiancée that he is going to marry this December. I also know the person he knows in the Rockets Organization, he happens to be one of the nicest guys I know and would never make-up anything about the organization he loves to work for. Then why refute what Bag0b0y has said?

    - He’s my buddy… I bust his balls all the time. We’ve already had a good laugh over this.

    - To protect our friend that works for the Rockets. He’s told me some things in the past and some have come true but I had to resist my urge to post for the same reason. It’s his dream job to work there and I don’t want compromise it. It turns out all this is okay with him (I guess).

    - It’s always good to question what you read. If people do not do that in this BBS TroyBarros (sp?) and all the other trolls that have made things up in the past would have a field day on us TheTrue Rockets fans. The people that have earned respect here have earned it because they were questioned by intelligent (and some not so intelligent) members and were able to support their information with substance without compromising their respective sources. Bag0b0y will get his creds.

Bag0b0y, sorry chief, I had to tell people you were getting married to show a touch of personal info to confirm the fact that I know do you.

By the way, people have been asking if you are going to have strippers and beer at the bachelor’s party.

I disagree with all of you that think that Rudy needs to go. Rudy has had a couple of heartbreak seasons (45 wins and missed the playoffs 2 yrs ago and missed by 1 game this year) over the 4 lottery years, but has consistently gotten a lot of production considering the players he has had to work with. Keep in mind, folks, that Rudy is coaching the second youngest team in the league and yet ended up just outside of the top half of the western conference (not a conference for the faint of heart). If I remember correctly, the Bulls are the youngest team and tallied a total of 30 wins this year.

I do agree that Rudy needs a bit of help when it comes to the offensive end. This help could come with the addition of an "x's and o's" coach that could be groomed to take over for Rudy when his contract is up.

I also agree that we will probably make a player move or two even though I thought Mobley was AWESOME defensively over the last 2-3 weeks of the season. I am also resistant to the idea of dealing EG before his 3rd year. The 3rd year is usually the make or break year for most players who go through 4 years of college and EG is still 20 years old. With his ability to shoot the 3 and his improvement in the last half of the year in the low post, I would be sad to see him go. In addition, with EG's ability to block shots, EG and Yao make up a pretty formidable wall for opposing squads to get over in the paint.

Rudy deserves a chance to at least start next season. If the guys don't show any progress through the first part of the season or if we continue dumping to the cellar teams, then a coaching change might be appropriate.

Can somebody with extra time on their hands do some research and provide a list of all available free agents. That way we can at least see who's available and who might fit in on this team.

Man I dont know about you guys but I am sick and tired of Rudy T.and his obselete approach to players and coching style. Rudy has set up an atmosphere here in Houston where his key players (Francis, Mobley, Norris, etc.) can disregard proper instructions on how to pass the ball. Every team knows Houston will not consistently pass the ball. That is why Francis and Mobles' play deteriorated greatly at the end of the season. Teams knew to play them hard man up and that they would dripping the 24 second clock out or force the issue and make a turnover. This has been going on for three years and every one in and out of the league knows it to. I am tired of the excuses, were young, were making progress, I just dont see it and feel that it is time for a change beginning with the coach and with some of the pitiful roster. Moochie is the first one I would cut outright. He is a pathetic little gremlin who thinks he has game and has allowed himself to get fat on all thousand millions he is stealing. Pay Rudy his 12 million and give him his gold watch and send him off into the sunset. If I got fired and the bos paid me for two years salary for nothin I would grateful. Cancer notwithstander, Rudy has beeen a great company man, but his run has been over for a few years. I would bring in a young disciplinarian type coach that if you did not pass the ball or dribbled too much, you would be sitting next to him on that pine. This goes for Francis and Mobley!!!
