Brown can't dribble, doesn't have better handles, defense or offense.
EG needs to get stronger, but not that much stronger physically.
He needs to be more agressive and mentally stronger.
He needs to be more like his idol Sheed. More agressive.
Sheed shoots the three like EG, and got a 6-11 230 frame much like EG which is 6-10 232 not 225. But the point is that he don't need much more muscle. EG doesn't have good confidence, but if he has good confidence he is a great player. He has shown flashes brilliance, but he needs to be mentally stronger.

I heard from an insider that this whole cancer thing is a desparate attempt by Rudy to save his job. Am I the only one who noticed that when the going got tough this season that Rudy got chemo.

I'm surely going to hell now

what are you? amare's agent's wife's cousin? Jeez, I don't know, I remember being around this board last summer and I don't ever recall the "Amare Stoudemire for Eddie Griffin" trade or the "Amare Stoudemire for (Rashard?) Lewis" trade that "99%" of us didn't want. You are just making stuff up.

Second, I don't know if you watched too many Wizards games, or if you followed them at all this year, but if you did, you'd know that you're about the only person buying Kwame Brown stock at this point. But if you're serious, I've got some shares in American Airlines I could let you have for a song.....

Bigdingus...are you sick ? you think Rudy would use CANCER as a cover up...i might not agree with Rudy coaching styles, but what you just said about Rudy is just inhumane...go redeem yourself!

Let's not blast the original poster. My brother-in-law Danny met over lunch with Jon Barry two years ago, who basically confirmed that Chris Webber wasn't even considering Houston. Some people believed me, some didn't. Of course I didn't know that Houston wasn't even considering Webber.

    A couple of random thoughts.

Whether or not Rudy stays might depend on what player we receive in trade. Garnett's about to get bounced from the playoffs. If you found a 3rd team with cap space (Wizards, Steve's hometown team?; SF/EG/T-Mo for Stack/Kwame/#9-ish pick to Minnie with Glen R./Cato, whatever, maybe we keep the draft pick) then you might wrangle such a deal.

Garnett and RT have a great relationship, and that would help us keep RT, considering KG doesn't need constant nannying.

Tough trade to make, though, but you can bet it would be somehow considered, especially if Minny gets to move into the Eastern Conference. The West ain't getting any easier, folks.

Considering it is more likely that we keep Steve, and send Cat and EG, as offered in the original post, well, we have mentioned the Paper Clips before. Chicago needs some tweaking, too.

As also mentioned, the teams we're talking to would all want to know who's gonna draft King James.

A five game win streak and a full game ahead of the Suns, and holding the tie breaker. Yup, Rudy couldnt handle all that stress, so he faked cancer. Man, that was brillant! Well, I guess we know one Rudy basher who has NO brain!

I'm sorry to break it to you buddy but I think you are 982 posts away from being "crowned" a senior member. You don't become one by trying to be popular and simply compiling what people have been speculating here for the past two years and regurgitating it back at us and acting like its new. I mean, Rudy T. is out, EG and Cat are gone?!? My goodness, I have never heard that here before! Please next time ask the guy who knows the guy who is the "insider" to please conjure up something new that we can all enjoy between legit posts from people with credibility like OP or Doc Rock.

And I'm sorry to break it to YOU, but it takes 400 posts to become a Senior Member.

I don't really get the rabid bashing of anyone who claims to have insider info. This guy's clearly not trying to buy credibility. He's not constantly posting, looking for attention. And everyone who's connected is unproven at first. I'm not saying his connect's real or made up. I don't know. But the way people get treated around here when they try to share a scoop, it's a wonder any of them ever come back.

Not to say I agree or disagree with this information but just to be objective. Most ppl here are dismissing this info on the count that its just speculation. Well ask yourself this, why was it speculated in the first place. One reason is because the posters want it to happen and think it helps the team. The other being that its probable and not so off the wall that one can speculate. Well most of the time, the team's management also wants to discuss and make moves that help the team and satisfy the fans. Most of the time this stuff isn't off the wall either. And since nothing happens, isn't it possible that the rocks management speculates like us and this info leaked as legit. Or that it will happen and just happens to be something that we found worth speculating. Not all trades and drafts have to be off the wall. Not all the inside info you get will be the big Garnett for francis stuff. Sometimes these moves need to be made. Why bash a guy for sharing this info. And if he is just making it up (not saying he did) how sad he must be to come to the bbs to get attention. Do you really want to kick him while he is down? If he is right how will we know one way or the other. He is just speculating info thats already been mentioned right. But what if the rocks think the smae moves need to be made. If it happens he is not wrong, the posters here have just been right with there speculation. So why bash him? Anyways continue on.

Why do we have haters on this thread? Let me make some things clear.
#1. Is this a popularity contest? do i win i prize or something if i get the most posts/replies? In that case i'd better start racking up those threads! I don't intend to be popular by starting threads I just wanted to let everyone in on information i overheard. How legit the information is i don't really know. It didn't come from me, all i know is that i'm a fan just as much as the next person and just wanted to pass the news along.

#2. props do Doc Rock and OP and whoever else is "credible". they've got inside knowledge on the Rockets and i'm grateful for them because it gives us info before everyone else knows about it. I wasn't trying to put myself in their class, whatever i said earlier was a simple joke. get over it.

#3. If you read the thread i already mentioned that i knew they were "old rumors".

Oh, and by the way, I'm curious bumbum09, what were your last threads about? ;)

I'm not sure how you could have missed the sarcasm in that post. I was mocking this thread in general.

You were all over that. There was some real passion there.

    Baqui99,

I like the way you are thinking for the most part. Every team needs good role players to perform certain tasks that you don't normally need the stars to do.

One player that I have mentioned a few times is Piatkowski from the clippers because he gives us something that we need very badley and that is outside shooting and someone that can catch and shoot with great efficiancy and yet does not dominate the ball or the spot light. I would also like a serious enforcer we can bring in for a few minutes a game when other teams are getting physical like Kevin Willis, Bo Outlaw or Charles Oakley.

Having said that, it would be very hard to turn down a deal if it involved Elton Brand. Of course I thinkg the chances of that are very slim.
