We're still working through final details with the league. We're down the little stuff -- exactly where does this letter go here, exactly which fabric we'll have, etc. What we won't do is reveal the new logo on draft day. C'mon, we only have a mid-second round pick -- not exactly the splashy way you want to launch something like this. We'll probably show the logo not too long after, though. Tim
Tonaaayyy, after reading the latest DCballer posts, I am now voting that he must be wearing a baggy home-made batman pajama get-up. DCballer, I'm not meaning to bash you, but seriously, don't literally post "no info," especially not multiple times. Just a waste of bandwidth. And Tim, thanks for the info. The timing makes a lot of sense. Can't wait to see the new unis!
Boo - The fact that we (true, die-hard fans, remember us) have nothing to look forward to on draft day (because we used our pick this year to draft Dan Langhi 2 last year) is reason enough to give us something. Unveil the logo, what difference will it make? It's sadly all about the cash money.
Tim, thanks so much for responding on "when" the logo and uniforms will be unveiled. So we are to look for them sometime in July. I just wanted to get an idea on when they would be released. Thanks!
heres something to think about: if we didnt win any championships in the old jerseys, would we still think they are the greatest thing ever?
I won't pre-judge the R on the front. It might look great. I'll wait until I see the unis before judging. The only thing I will predict is that they won't be near as awful as the PJ's
haha indeed. Tim, i think the Rockets should reveal the uni's on draft day when the decide to draft me in the 2nd round. or opening day in the new arena would be good like always
After the draft day trade that lands us Brand and Odom??? Wouldn't it be sweet to see Brand, Odom, SF, and Yao together in the new Unis for first time.
Fair enough. If we draft you with the second pick, Tonaaayyy, we'll let you walk up to the podeum in the new uniform. Tim
What exactly is corpuscle red? Actually with all of these red uniforms out there, is corpuscle red, whatever that is, going to be significantly different enough so that all of the reds don't look similar to one another?
I don't know for sure but according to the article I believe they stated that the person designing the uniforms was involved with the costume designs in Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula. So just use your imagination and your guess is as good as mine.
