This trading deadline can't get here fast enough ... This past week has done nothing but create rumors and probably irked a number of players on our team. Who knows what is true and what isn't, but regardless of that, its whether these players like Oswalt believe it is true or not.

I'd be all for giving Roy a 5 year deal this winter. Him and Lance together are the young cornerstones of this franchise. Lock him up!

i freaking hate richard justice. that guys one of the biggest a$$clowns i've ever read.

anyways, i hope that the oswalt rumors are false. roy is more valuable then tejada and you certainly don't throw in players with him. if true i have lost all confidence in timmy. if you give up oswalt for tejada you're giving up the immediate future and probably the next couple of years, thus wasting tejada and berkman as well.

it'd be like the rockets trading yao ming, juwon howard, and rafer alston for ray allen, because we need a shooting guard.

No joke. I'd go to Roy, hand him a blank check, and say, hey, fill this out and let me know, at your convenience, how long you would like to stay an Astro. Oh yeah, and don't worry about a no trade clause. Have a nice off season and if you need another tractor I'll send one right up.

The Orioles will not trade Miguel Tejada, according to FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal.

The Astros, Angels and Rangers all made substantial offers for Tejada, but nothing could get past the liability that is owner Peter Angelos.
    Just updated on FOX Sports.....

And Steve Phillips is saying Soriano is on his way to the Dodgers....and what about the Astros?

    We'll see......

If the Astros trade Oswalt you are looking at unrecoverable damages from a lot of the fan base in Houston.

No one will get traded and as I predicted before the season began we are looking at an 83 win team and that of course gives us no chance of making the playoffs.

Justices "source" is someone "who says he is in the know" in an interview on ESPN Radio right now.

I think it should take more than that to report what he reported.

I love the Astros, so I will ignore this season and I would like for Clements to know we appreciate all he has done for the team.

    Wait til next year.

Justice is so full of ****.

He's on 790 right now, talking about Soriano, and when asked where he was going he said "I thought the Twins and then the Tigers, but the truth is I don't know."

Of course you don't know Richard, 98% of what you write is made-up or comes from poor sources.

He also said he wouldn't be surprised to see Oswalt pitching opening day for the Mets or Yankees in 2 years.

Well I don't think it is for a lack of trying .. We can't force other teams to accept our deals. What I don't like is the turmoil all this is going to cause in the clubhouse. It seems like there were a lot of "leaks" this year with very few leaks actually being true.
