That clip pretty much explains Eric Roberts's career. Something about that getup made him look like Roy Scheider. I was hoping Coca-Cola was a broad enough topic that you could tie it to another cheap inner loop apartment, free love, cool restaurant/honky-tonk that no longer exists anecdote.
Excellent post. The average American consumes well over 100 lbs. of sugar a year. Our early ancestors consumed 22 teaspoons of sugar a year which they were only able to find in fruits. And you're right. American kids are strung out sugar junkies and we (some of us) don't even realize it. Our youth are headed down a path to be diabetics and suffer from hypoglycemia.
