The Spurs look to be 2 years away....... maybe Fox would help them mature but his time line is questionable with the time lines of Harper and Wemby....

And Castle if he is not traded.

The Shooter aspect, while it should be a reason to be concerned about, given that they are a couple years away, they have more than time to make up for it....2 years is half an eternity in NBA time.....they can make it happen for real.

If Victor and Fox are both healthy the entire year, Spurs will at least be a .500 team and a lock for a play-in spot.

IMO, the only way they will reach #6 to avoid the play-in is by having at least two of the top 8 WC teams from last year collapse. Although I can think of 2-3 teams where this could happen, it's unlikely.

On the other hand, if Victor goes to another level on offense and averages ~30/11, Castle also levels up and Dylan Harper makes an impact, they might win 45 games. Fox is a special closer and if their focus is actually winning games instead of letting Victor do whatever he wants to do, they might surprise everybody and earn #6.

I don't like Victor, but injuries are the only thing stopping him from being a generational player.
