Thank you Miguel09, I appreciate you watching it..... Oh there is, there is plenty of the passing of the gas.... DD
Great Vid DD, I always enjoy your posts even if some of them are You missed talk on David Andersen, my Australian Brother. Maybe i'll make my own Vid and post as an Australian follow up... Also, what about our assistant coach possibly going to Minni Soda ? Looks like there's enough content for a 2nd video! C'mon!
you know, when you put yourself out there you have to be ready for the guys who are going to tear you up for whatever reasons. Anyway, your delivery style isn't my thing, but I gave you 5 stars on this thread because I respect the effort and I am sure it will resonate with some. I don't think Ariza will be a shannon anderson, but he's not a playmaker either. I don't see him becoming that. I think he will be similar to von wafer. I also don't think T-mac is being set-up for an early return. Reason is that the Rockets are desperate to get good news out now and try to boast season ticket sales I'm sure. Rockets fans are notorious bandwagoners and the Toyota Center will be quickly empty sans Yao and T-mac and a bad start.
Buddinger played like a young Brent Barry?? Thats amazing Didn't know he was as skilled or athletic as Brent Barry was...(don't follow NCAA too much) Shandon Anderson was the 1st thing that came to my mind about Trevor Ariza...but I think Ariza physically has a lot more upside. He's an okay 1-on-1 defender to me, but if Battier can teach him how to play fundemental defense instead of relying solely on his athleticism, then he has the potential to be ALL NBA DEFENSE every year. However, I do think he is limited offensively. Don't see him getting much more skilled with ball handling/creating after 5 years in the NBA. But, his shooting could improve. Also, interesting theory about Tmac...he himself has been saying he's aiming at coming in at the start of training camp... don't think he'll come back that early, but I think late pre-season to 1st month of the season is possible, since the surgery was on the non-weight bearing part of his knee and he's working out with Tim Grover...he got Dwade better than before his injury after everybody wrote him off. But that would be great PR. Glad to see that I'm not the only one who isn't completely giving up on the season...lets just see what happens with a lot of young talent and an uptempo offense.
He doesn't have that fullcourt athleticism that Barry had. The whole coast-to-coast elegance. Chase does have mad hops though.
DD, At least 4 star. I think you have a future in the biz. Keep it up. I've enjoyed your postings since 2000. I feel like you do. McGrady? Hey if the guy was really hurt what could he do? Hope he comes back like gangbusters. We could trade him for even a strong first from a contender. If he is really back, maybe we could rsign him for a discount. Sign a healthy Yao and bam-- instant contenders. Probable? Not really, but nobody ever became NBA champs without a key lucky move or two.
Great vid DD! If you don't mind me asking -- what is your age and annual income? I have a daughter who is coming of age and have taken note of you.
First time I've watched one of these, I like the referring to yourself in third person... Good video too.
Why is everyone so pumped about Budinger being a young Brent Barry? I guess I missed the years when Brent Barry led the Rockets through championship campaigns.
