Great video DD. I don't have any A/V sychronization problem. I agree with your analysis. Hope Rox could do it accordingly to jumpstart the team. Looking forward to your next video.

 

You get people riled up sometimes and occasionaly will bend a few noses out of joint around here DD, but gar damn it, you are a Rocket fan tried and true.

If your post is in response to my post, I said A.I. (Allen Iverson) attacks the basket. Or maybe you're responding to someone else.

 

I think out of all the options you have given these are the only ones that would work:

1. Wait it out. Because of injuries, etc. this team hasn't really got a chance to get its chemistry going. Maybe after a little bit of time with a somewhat healthy roster, they'll start clicking, just like last year.

2. The only one of those trade options that would work, would be Mike Miller becase he's the kind of player we need in moving off the ball. Maggette, too is a ball stopper, Hinrich is just not what we need right now, and we have good PFs, so we don't need Amare.

Honestly, if it were for me to choose, I would just wait until the end of the season, because the season isn't over yet, and it isn't really fair to judge Artest and how he's played as of now, when he's basically played about a third of the season. And I think this team will start clicking soon. They still have a focus on defense, and team chemistry, which are the keys to their previou ssuccess, and I don't think their woes as of right now can be blamed all on one player. It's a team effort, and I don't know if trading Artest would really make the difference.

i agree on the Mike Miller part I wouldnt mind him on this team as an added bonus he is still really good friends with tmac so they may help chemistry as well.


I do not agree on Hinrich I do not see him as an upgrade in overall team talent.

I would agree on Maggette except he is also a ball stopper and would he be alright being the third option? he didnt really like that role on the clippers and with the contract he has i would stay away from him...if his contract was smaller I would put him as the #1 guy I would want in any near future trades

Stoudemire isnt going to happen so I dont know why people think that

You should situate yourself in front of one of your WestingHouse tv's and have the Rockets R logo spinning on your tv screen, or something like that for a fun background. Maybe some of R2K's highlights.

 

maggette would be the best option. trade T-Mac for him.

Loved the Scola guest appearance. I'd like see you do a bobblehead puppet show with Artest and McGrady.

If Artest is going to be traded, he's probably heading to a team with playoff ambitions and see him as the "missing piece." Minnesota is definitely out, particularly since Jefferson is gone for the season.

Suns I think is a possibility, but Stoudamire is probably an overreach.
Chicago may do it because they might see the trade as being in their favor. (Which it would be.)

GSW is actually a possibility because Nelly is a risk taker.

Great job, you do have that Tommy Boy thing goin on.

What free agents are available for this offseason. We could let Artest walk and then trade TMac and get ahead of the 2010 rush that most likely won't come to fruition anyway.

DD, you do have good idea's.

HOWEVER, I think you should expand your horizons and stop looking at only guys like Hinrich and Maggette, which I know you have been hot on. I think you could look at other players that are out there.

 

Hi DD, great video. Strangely enough I like your vids more than No Layups. Maybe its because you get straight to the point and make it very brief...on the other hand "No Layups" always has all of these silly skits I don't really care about. Anyway regarding your trade proposals I would say the only viable options are waiting it out, getting Amare and getting mike miller.


Heinrich is not that big an upgrade over Rafer Alston. His 3 pt percentage is only 2% higher than Alstons so its not like we're getting Mo Williams now, is it? Maggette on the hand seems to lack the BB IQ to play in basically any organized system. You think the chemistry is bad right now? Wait until Corey "Bad p*rn" Maggette gets a hold of the ball lol.

If Morey could get Amare for say Landry and Artest + fillers I'd be all for it. Getting Amare is like you said, not a necessity however should we be able to get him without trading Tmac, we'll have 3 expiring MAX contracts in two year's time. So we can really go ALL IN this year and the next, and then we can rebuild painlessly and have ourselves a real Big 3...only in their primes unlike Boston's
