Actually he only attempts 2 3-pointers a game.

He also averages 8.4 free throw attempts a game, good for number 7 in the league. I want I want!

I am tired of the finger pointing at Artest, he is one of the only rocket that gives a crap on the team. I would be truly disappointed if the Rockets gave him up. He has put up better numbers than T-mac and lately since his ankle has been better, he has been beasting on opponents in the post.

Good to know DD isn't completely alone on this one. If only winning and finding a good fit was as simple as you make it sound.

No offense DD, but you just lost some of that mistique now that I have a face of you plastered in my head now..........I don't think I can ever look at you and your posts the same way again........its kinda like seeing Bob Knight talking basketball on ESPN-totally destroyed his legendary mystique.

I'm starting to look forward to your video posts DD, good job.

I don't think trading for Maggette is a good idea since he tends to be a ball stopper also. But, I totally agree with you on Mike Miller he would be awesome in this offense since he's a great shooter and moves well withought the ball.

speaking of mystique, if we can get the time differences to work, I could be able to squeeze in for some split screen action

Wow DD I have newfound respect for you. Nice video. I agree with your ideas on the most part, but please no Corey Maggette. Less heart version of Artest making more money on a super long contract and equally fragile does not sound too good.

    Trade talk is good.
Tirade talk would have been acceptable

    Nice vid double D...

Out of those 4, I think Kirk would bring the most improvement. Ive been wanting a damn PG forever.

I like the idea of Corey attacking the basket and drawing a crapload of fouls.

I dont want Amare. PF isnt our problem.

Mike Miller would be nice...I think he would rain the 3 ball here in Htown with Yao demanding so much attention.

OK, so 1pm Wed, and it is 8pm Tuesday here...so that is what? 17 hours ahead?

I will shoot you an email but the time difference might not work for a weekly deal...but definitly doing some of it, maybe a rotating thing.

It would be good to say hi anyway Smeg...

As I have discussed before, I also like the idea of Maggette on this team as it gives us someone who attacks the basket. I often try to think of who we would have to give up to make some of the proposed trades.

It may have already been discussed, but it recently dawned on me that A.I. for TMAC would be a good trade for the Rockets on several fronts. A.I. is the type of player that wants the ball and wants to be the leader of the team. He attacks the basket constantly; shoots 8-10 free throws a game; and is a #1 option in crunch time. A.I. is not happy in Detroit because he is not the #1 option. We need a #1 option. TMAC would be happy being a facilitator in Detroit. Additionally, this would allow us to keep Artest and move him into the starting lineup at the 2. I see A.I. replacing Rafer at the point.
    A.I.
    Artest
    Battier
    Scola
    Yao

Rafer attacks the basket?? Give me a break. That fool is pretty weak when it comes to attacking the basket. His floater is terrible (probably the worst thing you ever seen the NBA). Aaron Brooks....now there is an attacker. You should be talking about Aaron Brooks as an attacker NOT Rafer...get a clue!! Also getting Macgette to attack basket?? Dude, Ron Artest is as good as ANY BODY in this league when it comes to attacking the basket!!!

Other trades analysis...i have no comments as it is unpredictable. But Baron Davis is definitely better than Kirk Heinrich.
