Miller's terrible year so far has alot to do with McHale. McHale firmly believes that Foye is a better shooter that Mike and thus, run sets for him more. I do hope that we get Mike because judging from the way the wolves are handling him, they dont seem to have any long term plans for Mike there.
KH is a huge upgrade over Rafer. He attacks, shoots way better, grabs more rebs and delivers more asts. He is much more talented than Rafer.
Nice video DD, although you're alone on an island with Maggette. You might be the only guy here pushing for that move.

If Rockets really want to get a new point guard, Morey needs to go all out in finding a great one. If somehow, we could get a player like Derrick Rose, Deron Williams, Chauncey Billups, etc.... seems impossible. But then again Morey is the still the Wizard, right?
Hey DD how bout instead of Maggette we go after Jefferson? Bucks are looking to dump for expiring contracts this year.
Good one DD. I agree that Amare may not help the Rockets as much as some people think. Our offense and rebounding from the PF position are fine -- Scola and Landry are a very good combo. It's defense that is lacking from the four spot, and Amare is not going to help there. Hinrich is an upgrade over Rafer, but not by much. If the price for Hinrich is Artest, I don't think it's worh the deal. Baron Davis, on the othre hand, does intrigue me. I think that he's having a bad year mostly because he's playing for the Clippers. He has been healthy lately. Playing on the Rockets might just reenergize him.
KH comes off the bench this year so the stat might not be as good as a starter. Look at his career numbers, almost better than Rafer on every major category.
After that analysis I can't say I'm crazy about making a trade at this point. I think we may be best off trying to weather the storm and make some noise in the playoffs. Keep in mind that if we back to our old Rockets defense we will be a team built for the playoffs. Either way, I liked it a lot and look forward to the future of DD analysis.
But just looking at Rafer's defense individually, its not such a hole in the team that it gets taken advantage of. His defense at least is still serviceable, and at times his defense is good. If we do try and trade for a point guard, we should try and shoot for the moon. IMO Chauncey Billups would THE most ideal point guard for the Rockets.
Please don't compare stats of this year between Rafer and Hinrich. Hinrich was out for a couple months with a broken thumb (I think that was the injury), and when playing, has lost minutes to the Chi-town rookie sensation (so to speak). He is a far steadier hand than Rafer, more than a slight upgrade. And how long can we continue to whine about not having a decent PG? I wouldn't mind MMiller but I hope he would stay out of buddy Tmac's malaise, which has, to some degree, affected Ron.
I like him too. Maggette for Artest straight up! We desperately need someone to attack the rim and I'm sick and tired of watching Artest shoot 35% from the floor. Maggette shoots 47% from the floor and although he doesn't shoot the 3 well, he stays within himself averaging barely 1 attempt a game.
