Your on-the-road image looks great. Thanks. The Rox would be on-the-road after the Cavs game and I hope they look as great as you are. Enjoy the trip, DD.
Here's a possible topic(s) for a future session... Will the Rockets stick with Rick Adelman and, if so, for how long? Assuming we stick with Adelman... How do you see the Rockets style of play changing over the next few years, assuming we reisgn Yao? Have the last few games been a small view of things to come? Will we pursue a PG this summer and will Brooks or Lowry be trade fodder? What types of players will Morey try to bring in to fit Adelman's system, assuming Adelman stays? Will Adelman eventually be able to expand Yao's role in the offense? Better yet, can Yao function in a different role? I think there is the potential for some bad chemistry between Yao and Rick with Yao getting frustrated by the faster pace of play.
so is this move permanent? and will you be getting court side tickets to the Lakers games as a perk with your new employer??
Looks like you're next in line for rehab... Speaking of which, you're WAY better at webcaming when you're drunk. I was worried for a second though you were going to spill your wine on your keyboard. But this was the most entertaining DD post yet.
I thought his eyes were going to pop out. I swear to God, I thought his eyes were literally going to pop out of his sockets.
DD i watched the video again. that was just so hilarious.....it reminded it me of myself when i was slurring. damn that wine was doing what it was suppose to. yup i know the feeling. trying really hard to keep the eyes wide open, speech getting a little behind the thought. lacking oxygen all over the body. that was funny as hell.....keep up the good work
Another Rockets fan and I recently had this same discussion. If you recall the Showtime Lakers, there were four greyhounds and one plodder (Kareem). Magic, Worthy et al pushed down the court in a hot hurry, but, if there was nothing there, they waited 10 or 12 seconds for the ancient one to arrive and skyhook them out of trouble. From what Morey has said recently, I interpolate that this is the strategy he wants to implement. Our non-athletic athletes are on their way out and are being replaced with more speed and movement, which is Adelman's style. Brooks, Lowry, Von Wafer, Scola, Barry and Artest (usually) all will run so our fast break points are bound to improve. Also, with this strategy, Yao can stick around under the basket, which will improve Yao's offensive rebounding and put=back scoring. Up until McGrady went out, I was falling asleep during games. Now the Rockets are far more entertaining and fun to watch. There's no napping now.
There are far worse things than living here in sunny SoCal, DD. Just make sure you live VERY close to your office. Those two-hour commutes to drive 20 miles are a killer.
I looked around and found a picture of DD and his wife: Spoiler Seriously, like his posts or not, you can't deny DD is one of the biggest Rocket fans on this board. 5 star thread. Have fun in Cali, man.
DD, I have a OT question. I just got a new HP Notebook. I have no idea how to use the webcam, or even record for that matter. I was wondering if you could give me some tips. I want to make a video (not Rockets related), and upload it on youtube, similar to what you have been doing. If you could give me some pointers, I would appreciate it so much. Thanks. I always enjoy the vids. 9.5/10 My email is francisfan@sbcglobal.net.
