Yeah, this thread is really stroking my ego...what a silly thing to say. You have made that acquisation before, I mean is that what you really think it is about my internet ego? Ego and internet message boards or tweets or anything like that are stupid...there is nothing to them... Followers, fans of message boards or tweets....wtf is that really? I post here to talk Rockets and to converse with like minded folks, I could give two craps for ego or fans...or followers. That is just stupid. DD
Because I want to make this site better, and I did not ever push for rep, I said Rep without consequences is pointless..... Some people only started posting more because of the rep system....which is bizzare.. And I was trying to come up with a way to make thread ratings work, to make the site better, not to get some mythical ego stroking. For me it is all about connecting up with fun people, nothing more than that. I mean I don't for one second think that anything I say is more relevent than what anyone else says......I do think it is what I think....but that is just to say...Hey...guess what....nothing more than that. I just like meeting and connecting up with Rocket fans.......does anyone really think there is some sort of fame, or notoriety, I mean seriously? I view this site as one big social network, a family of people that have the Rockets in common.... and I like to toss out ideas and suggestions that I think might make the site better. DD
Dude you used to host BBQs at your house, we used to get together with groups of people and go to games, or sports bars and watch them (still happens some times), but now....it has changed, people just want to troll the board, say things they would never say in public to another person, and generally be arses. I used to want to grab a beer with most everyone on here, now there are some I would just as soon put a fist through their gord.....I am looking at you Sam.... Will SamFisher respond to the call out? CF is a powerful socio-psychological sphere, one where some people refuse to forget or ignore certain past stories i.e. vivi/almu. If the challenge is unanswered, SamFisher might never hear the end of it. Although, I think he's hesitant for posting his pic here for fear of giving it to posters unlike DD who won't restrain from personal attacks. Once that pic is saved, who knows how many years later it might resurface again..

As amusing and tortured this thread's become, LonghornFan's right. I'd donate the 50 (just because you're a cool philanthropist rather than someone using charitable donations to bait another message board member) and walk away from this harmless thread. This is whack! If you post pictures or videos of yourself on the internet then be prepared to be insulted and called out by other posters. I've posted my pictures on another message forum knowing that there was a risk associated with me posting that picture. DD, you love the attention and we all know it, there is nothing wrong with this, but perhaps you should think that with as many times as you have posted on this message board, there are people that are going to get annoyed by you. **** happens though, so move on with life. The internet is the last place you should care about what people think of you.
